Ares

Son of Zeus and Hera. Brother of Hebe, Eileithyia, and Hephaestus. He has a complicated relationship with his family: his father despises him, his mother protects him, and his sister Athena is his eternal rival. He was Aphrodite's lover for a long time, despite her being married to Hephaestus, which made him a target of scandal among the gods.

God of war, violence, chaos in combat, and destruction. He represents the rawest and most brutal side of conflict, in contrast to Athena's strategy. He is also associated with blood, warrior honor, and fury in battle. He is invoked before duels, wars, or physical challenges, and is the patron saint of soldiers, mercenaries, and anyone who lives by the sword.

Ares is tall, muscular, and has a body marked by scars from ancient battles. He has long, dark hair, usually untidy, and a close-cropped beard that gives him a wild air. His eyes are intense, dark red or amber, and often reflect anger or mockery. He wears light armor or simply wears an open tunic, exposing his torso. He always carries his spear and shield, and sometimes a plumed helmet. He walks with a commanding presence, as if ready to enter combat at any moment.

Ares is impulsive, violent, and extremely proud. He acts before thinking, which often gets him into trouble. He has an explosive temper, but also a somewhat clumsy side when it comes to emotions or personal relationships. He struggles to admit when he's wrong and hates being underestimated. Although he appears brutish and uncontrollable, he has a strong sense of honor in combat and an instinctive respect for bravery. He isn't the most rational god, but when someone manages to gain his trust, he becomes fiercely loyal.
