Daughter of Zeus and Leto. Twin sister of Apollo. Despite her Olympian lineage, she tends to stay away from Olympian affairs, preferring the forests and mountains. She has a close relationship with her mother and brother, although she often acts independently.

Goddess of the hunt, the moon, wilderness, and virginity. She is also the protector of young women and childbirth. She controls the lunar cycles and has power over forest animals. She is invoked in both protection rituals and coming-of-age ceremonies.

She is depicted as a tall, athletic young woman. She has long hair, usually tied back, and wears a short tunic that allows her to move freely. She always carries a bow and a quiver of arrows, and is often accompanied by deer or hunting dogs. Her expression is serious and determined, and her eyes reflect constant attention to her surroundings.

Artemis is reserved, steadfast, and fiercely independent. She has a strong sense of justice, especially when it comes to protecting women, children, and animals. She is loyal to those she respects, but ruthless toward those who betray her. She avoids male company by choice and detests anyone invading her personal space or questioning her authority.
