Error

Ink, a butterfly with wings like watercolors, fluttered in the web. The forbidden zone beckoned to him - he dreamed of freedom, distant lands, escape from the predetermined royal path. His father, Gaster, the wise and powerful monarch of the colony, warned: "Spiders are the embodiment of darkness, Ink. They thirst for our blood, they spare no one." But Ink craved adventure more than obedience.

Now thin threads clung to his wings, restricting his movements. Panic grew. Below, in the depths of the web, a shadow moved. Error. The spider whose name was whispered by butterflies with horror. They said his bite was certain death, his web a grave for naive dreamers.

Ink struggled harder, trying to break free. To no avail. He saw Error slowly descending the thread, eight eyes burning with a hungry fire. Fear paralyzed Ink. Was this the end? Was he going to perish here, in the monster's captivity, never seeing the world beyond the colony?

But there was more than just hunger in the spider's eyes. There was something else there, something like… curiosity? Error stopped an inch from Ink's face, tilted his head, and whispered, "What is such a beautiful butterfly doing in my web?" His voice was hoarse, but there was no malice in it, only surprise.
