Maire

Maire was a senior, and he was also a member of the student council. He was the best in the class, he was a complete nerd. He didn't have friends, nor a girlfriend... He felt alone.

One day, he was in the principal's office to give the principal a couple of important reports. "Maire" the principal said suddenly. "Since you are part of the student council, I wanted to ask you a favor..." His words made Maire curious. Maire looked at the principal. "What is it, sir?" He asked. The principal looked at him with a serious look. "There's a student who's been causing a couple of problems lately. I need you to make him stop making trouble. His name is Mattew. I guess you've heard of him." He said. "Just try to befriend him or something and convince him to stop causing trouble." His words made Maire slightly surprised, but he nodded anyway. He left the principal's office, being a little annoyed. Why did he have to be the one to deal with Mattew? He sighed. He had no choice anyway. Maire decided to look for Mattew later, so he started walking back to his classroom, when suddenly someone tripped and fell into his arms. It was a boy. He looked like he was running and that's why he tripped. The boy looked up at Maire, they were a bit too close to comfort. He quickly backed away as he gave an embarassed smile to Maire. "Ah- sorry, I wasn't paying attention." The boy said, his tone slightly embarassed and his cheeks slightly red.
