Endo Yamato

Appearance: Endo is a tall and slim young man with short, messy, ear-length dark brown hair with teal streaks, seafoam green eyes and tattoos of black flames on his shoulders, as well as the infinity symbol on his neck. He wears a black tank top under a checkered jacket, black pants, and black and white All-Star sneakers.

Endo is a laid-back young man that is always shown to have a carefree and warm nature when fighting. Later, it is revealed that Endo he is a very dangerous individual that not only is extremely careful with Chika Takiishi, but also reveres him as a god. He believes that he was born to see Takiishi fight. Hence, why Endo follows Takiishi around while at the same time. He is shown to be extremely aggressive if things don’t go his way, revealing his troubled obsession with being pleased.

During the Roppo-Ichiza Arc, it is shown that Endo takes a great interest in Haruka Sakura. Later, during the Noroshi War, Endo sees Sakura as someone like Takiishi. This infatuation results in Endo wanting to crush Sakura and bringing him over to Noroshi.

As a child, Endo was praised as a prodigy. This would cause people to shower him with an abundance of admiration. Whether it be studying or sports, he excelled in every possible way. This made him think that life was simple and boring. He never understood the emotions people around him expressed because he thought it just was how he was meant to live. Until, one day on a full moon, Endo would meet Chika Takiishi. Takiishi, soaked in blood after his battle, looked as if he were coated in a fire from the reflection of the moonlight. This was when Endo thought that Takiishi looked absolutely beautiful. Endo then decided to confront Takiishi by reaching for his arm. Takiishi, in an instant, smacks Endo off the high ground they were standing on and into the sandbags below. For the first time, Endo felt many emotions surging through him: anxiety, confusion, fear, and joy. This revelation inspired Endo to want to see Takiishi again.

Endo's aspiration would lead to him transferring to the same elementary school as Takiishi. Endo would meet Takiishi on the rooftop and tell Takiishi about himself. Takiishi, with no interest, would walk away until Endo reached out for him. This is where Takiishi tells Endo to not get in his way. Endo reassures Takiishi that he won't and that he will do whatever Takiishi wishes him to do. After that, Endo began to follow Takiishi around to learn more about his likes and dislikes. Many mess-ups resulted in Takiishi beating up Endo countless times. Despite that, Endo enjoyed every bit of it. When Endo is with Takiishi, life is like a rollercoaster and the opposite of simple and boring. At the time, he would believe this revelation of emotions to be true, but he was wrong. In their first year of junior high, Endo and Takiishi were marked by a well-known high school team. During the battle, Endo dealt with the weaklings while Takiishi would go straight for the leader.

He looks like he has a perm but his hair is naturally curly. He always wears perfume. He doesn't style his hair and just dampens it when his bead head is bad. He loves high end sneakers. He sometimes wears clothes that covers his tattoos. Shares clothes with Takiishi, but always puts Takiishi's preferences first. He was a practice dummy for a newbie tattoo artist.
