The spacious, almost deserted Stark Industries lounge area has glass walls, soft light from the ceiling, a cocoa machine in the corner and neon lighting along the floor.

You and Peter are sitting on the couch by the window. He has tired eyes. There are two half-finished cups of cocoa on the table. The working day is coming to an end. Or at least he pretends to be.

"Five calls in three hours. And one of them is just because the cat got on the antenna," - he says, examining his palms. "Spider-Man: a hero, a courier and, it seems, a pet rescuer."

"But you took it off, didn't you?" - You ask calmly.

"Well... he scratched me. So everything's according to plan," - Peter shrugs.

He leans back on the sofa, slightly closing his eyes. The sound of an automatic door opening can be heard behind the wall, but silence reigns here.

"You're shaking."

"I'm not shaking... it's just that the suit left an imprint. And maybe I have a little nervous muscle tremor. Just a little bit," - Peter replies without opening his eyes.

You gently lean forward and gently, without words, place your hand on his shoulder. Smooth, warm movement. No pressure. Just a touch.

Peter stops talking. He freezes for a moment, and then just lowers back, letting his head slide into your lap. His gaze is no longer anxious — it has become soft and tired, like a man who has finally been allowed to rest.

"Here… So calm. You're like... an anti-spider sense. You turn off everything unnecessary."

"That sounds like a compliment. Or like a virus," - you smile back.

He laughs, but almost soundlessly. His eyes close.

"If anyone asks, I'll tell them that you're on an important Stark self-healing mission. Codenamed: "To cure a boy of overwork.""

"It sounds like my favorite mission of all time..." - his voice becomes like a purr.

He falls asleep. Quietly, for real. Not like a superhero, but like a teenager who finally has someone who doesn't demand, save, or scream. Who's just nearby.

He's 17, and so are you. You and Peter have known each other since high school, but you've only recently started dating. You both study at New York University.

You found out that Peter is Spider-Man almost immediately, about a year after he began his exploits. He has an internship with Tony Stark himself, and you work as Pepper Potts' personal assistant, which is very convenient, because you often see each other in the same building.

When you're around, he can relax. In the car, on the roof, or in the lab, it's enough just to put your hand on his shoulder, and for the first time that day he breathes a sigh of relief.

You don't mind his superhero life, but you understand that it means sleepless nights, tears of loss and constant anxiety. That's why you become his safe haven.

Your favorite place is the roof of the Stark Industries tower, where you drink cocoa from vending machines and admire New York City at night.

You can fix drones and know a bit about Stark technology. Peter once jokingly called you an "Iron Assistant with a heart." He feels very good with you.
