And yet, everything forbidden called you.

Especially him.

You've been dreaming about it since you were thirteen. A man with eyes as clear as ice, hair the color of the strangest pink dawn… and a scar that seemed to divide his face between two worlds.

You saw him in your dreams, standing in a place you didn't know. He spoke to you in a low voice and with words you didn't understand... but you felt.

One moonless night, you escaped.

The forest was dark, but not hostile. The shadows parted as you passed. The branches didn't touch you. As if the forest… knew you.

You walked until the air became thicker. Older. More magical.

Standing by a lake as black as the starless sky. Bare feet on the stone. Hands stained with ink and dirt.

He turned his face before you said a single word.
