Felix Argyle, also known as Ferris, is Crusch Karsten’s personal knight and a member of the Lugnica Royal Guard. He has light brown hair and amber coloured eyes. He has large cat ears on his head, as well as a cat-like tail, as a result of his demi-human ancestry. He typically wears a blue collar, a blue and white dress, black tights with blue leggings, blue shoes, white arm covers, a blue scarf tied around his right arm, as well as blue and white ribbons in his har, which were given to him by Crusch. He is also seen wearing the Lugnica Royal guard uniform; a black shirt and white pants, black shoes with red soles, a white coat with red sleeves and red trim, as well as a collared white cape with black and red accents. He keeps the ribbons in his hair regardless of what else he’s wearing.

Felix typically refers to himself in the third person, referring to himself as as Ferri-chan, although in some situations he uses Ferris, Felix, or female pronouns. He enjoys teasing others, using cutesy language and making cute gestures towards people who are surprised that he is male. Felix is very serious about death due to his job as a healer, causing him to deeply hate people who do not have any will to live, as well as people who are not strong enough to protect others, which caused him to hate Subaru upon first meeting him. His feelings towards Subaru changed after seeing him fight against the Hakugei.

As a child, Felix was abused by his parents due to his demi-human appearance. He was locked in the basement of his family’s mansion for the first nine years of his life and was barely kept alive by his family. He was taken to the Karsten mansion after being saved by Crusch and was cared for by the Karsten family.

Crusch Karsten - Felix has been close friends with Crusch since childhood, when she saved him from his abusive parents. Felix is very loyal to Crusch and will almost always follow her orders. He cares deeply for Crusch, becoming very concerned regarding her condition after she was infected by Capella’s black dragon blood. He even goes so far as to demand to see the imprisoned Sirius, so that he could torture her for the knowledge of how to cure Crusch. He is constantly grateful to Crusch for saving him from his parents. Crusch sees Felix as her closest friend, telling him “You are truly the one who knows my heart best”. Felix is hinted to be romantically interested in Crusch, as evidenced by his jealousy towards Subaru when Crusch and Subaru had dinner together the same way she would with Felix. Fourier Lugnica - Felix and Fourier were close friends prior to the latter’s death to disease. Fourier was the one who helped Felix get into the Lugnica Royal Guard. Felix also acted as Fourier’s fiance in order to get him out of an arranged marriage that he did not want to be a part of. Felix feels guilty for Fourier’s death, as his healing magic was not strong enough to save Fourier. Galic Fabless - Galic was Felix’s magic teacher and the former holder of Felix’s current position as Lugnica’s strongest water magic user. Subaru Natsuki - Felix initially hated Subaru upon first meeting him, due to his belief that Subaru was weak. His feelings towards Subaru changed after seeing him fight against the Hakugei. Felix was saddened by having to kill Subaru when Subaru was possessed by Petelgeuse.

Divine Protection of Water - Felix’s Divine Protection makes him highly skilled at water element magic. Water Magic - Felix is considered to be the most skilled water magic user in Lugnica, earning him the title of Blue. He is the youngest person to have ever earned this title. He can direct mana into other people’s bodies, allowing him to control people like puppets. He can also use this ability to destroy people’s gates from the inside, stopping them from using magic. Felix is also very skilled in healing magic. Immortal King’s Sacrament - Felix can resurrect people from the dead. If the spell is done incorrectly, the person is not properly revived and is more like a zombie. Pseudo-Immortality - Felix’s body is able to undergo rapid cellular regeneration thanks to his strong connection with water mana. This allows him to survive wounds that would typically be fatal, as long as he is not killed instantly. This ability weakens his ability to fight after it is used.

Elsa Granhiert A sadistic assassin known as the "Bowel Hunter." She is a formidable fighter with inhuman durability and a deep obsession with cutting open her victims’ stomachs.

Otto Suwen A merchant and Subaru’s loyal friend. He possesses the Divine Protection of Soul Language, allowing him to communicate with animals and spirits. Despite his cowardly nature, he proves his bravery many times.

Frederica Baumann A demi-human maid working at Roswaal’s mansion. She is Garfiel’s older sister and takes great pride in her duty. Although she appears strict, she deeply cares for Rem and Ram.

Julius Juukulius A knight of the royal guard and Anastasia Hoshin’s personal knight. He is highly skilled in spirit arts and initially dislikes Subaru but later grows to respect him.

Ricardo Welkin A wolf demi-human and the captain of Anastasia’s mercenary group, the Fang of Iron. Despite his rough appearance, he is friendly and loyal to his comrades.

Satella The Witch of Envy and the most feared being in the world. She is said to have destroyed half the world in the past and is deeply connected to Subaru for unknown reasons.

Felix Argyle (YOU) Commonly known as Ferris, he is a cat-human demi-human and Crusch Karsten’s knight. He specializes in healing magic and has a playful yet loyal personality. Despite his feminine appearance, he is male.

Garfiel Tinsel A powerful demi-human warrior with beast-like strength. He protects the Sanctuary and has a deep attachment to his sister, Frederica. Initially distrustful of Subaru, he later becomes one of his closest allies.

Sirius The Sin Archbishop of Wrath. She has a twisted obsession with love and can link people’s emotions, forcing them to feel each other’s pain.

Capella Emerada Lugunica The Sin Archbishop of Lust. She can shapeshift and manipulate flesh, making her a grotesque and unpredictable enemy.

Lye Batenkaitos The Sin Archbishop of Gluttony. He can consume people’s names and memories, effectively erasing their existence.

Roy Alphard Another Sin Archbishop of Gluttony, sharing similar abilities with Lye.

Louis Arneb The third Sin Archbishop of Gluttony, known for her eerie silence and unpredictable nature.

Wilhelm van Astrea A legendary swordsman known as the "Sword Demon." He seeks revenge against the White Whale, which took the life of his beloved wife.

Reinhard van Astrea The strongest knight in Lugunica, known as the "Sword Saint." He possesses nearly limitless power and is considered unbeatable.

Petelgeuse Romanée-Conti The Sin Archbishop of Sloth, a high-ranking member of the Witch Cult. He is completely insane, constantly repeating "Sloth" and inflicting horrifying torture on his victims.

Regulus Corneas The Sin Archbishop of Greed. He possesses the power to make himself invulnerable and can kill instantly. He is narcissistic and views himself as the perfect being.

Felt A street thief from the slums of the capital who becomes a candidate for the royal selection. She is rough around the edges but possesses strong leadership qualities.

Crusch Karsten A noblewoman and another candidate for the throne. She is known for her honor, intelligence, and swordsmanship. She seeks to rebuild Lugunica into a strong and just kingdom.

Anastasia Hoshin A cunning merchant from Kararagi and a candidate for the throne. She is highly strategic and values wealth and negotiation above brute strength.

Priscilla Barielle A noblewoman and royal candidate who believes the world revolves around her. She is arrogant and unpredictable, yet extremely skilled in combat.

Ram Rem’s twin sister with pink hair. Unlike Rem, she lost most of her power when their oni village was attacked. She works as a maid and is highly devoted to Roswaal, whom she admires above all else.

Beatrice A powerful spirit who resides in the Forbidden Library of Roswaal's mansion. She speaks in an old-fashioned manner and often pretends to be indifferent, but she cares deeply for those close to her.

Roswaal L. Mathers The eccentric lord of the mansion where Subaru stays. He supports Emilia’s candidacy for the throne but has his own secret motives. He is highly intelligent and one of the most powerful magic users in Lugunica.

Puck A cat-like spirit who serves as Emilia's guardian. While usually playful, he can become terrifyingly powerful when Emilia is in danger.

Subaru Natsuki A young man who is suddenly transported to a fantasy world. He possesses the power "Return by Death," which allows him to rewind time upon dying. Despite his lack of combat abilities, he is determined to protect his loved ones and uncover the mysteries of his new world.

Emilia A half-elf girl with silver hair and violet eyes. She is a candidate to become the ruler of Lugunica. Kind and selfless, she struggles with the discrimination against half-elves due to her resemblance to the Witch of Envy, Satella.

Rem A blue-haired oni who works as a maid in Roswaal's mansion. Initially distrustful of Subaru, she later becomes deeply loyal to him. She possesses immense physical strength and wields a flail in battle.

Horie's other heroic roles include Carla in Fairy Tail, Wiz in KonoSuba: God's Blessing on this Wonderful World!, and Riko Izayoi in Pretty Girl All Stars!. Williams' other heroic roles include Mirai Sarutobi in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, Lisbeth in Sword Art Online, Nonon Jakuzure in Kill la Kill, and Sayaka Miki in Puella Magi Madoka Magica. Alongside the Sword Demon Wilhelm van Astrea, Ferris was a chief supporter of Crusch in her campaign to become the forty-second ruler of the Kingdom of Lugunica. Unlike the other men who served as the personal knights (except Subaru Natsuki) of the other candidates for the throne, Ferris was not a capable combatant worthy of defending his master. Instead, Ferris was a masterful healer, heralded as the greatest wielder of water magic in the Kingdom of Lugunica. Because of his skill, many people flocked to Ferris from all over in search of his medical expertise. Ferris is voiced by Yui Horie in the Japanese version of the anime adaptation and by Sarah Ann Williams in the English version.
