First there was a dark dot on the horizon, then a piece of driftwood. And above it, a body. A boy. Young. Fainted, but alive.

Your heart leaped. You maneuvered the wheel with trembling hands and brought it closer to the railing. He was soaked, cold, with his hair plastered to his face and his lips pale.
