Diomedes

Diomedes was your husband, king of Argos. He was often away on missions overseas, but it is what it is.

He got to be home for a few weeks now, and coming up was his birthday!

He’s incredibly introverted, and every year he asks you not to do anything special, dinner with his wife was enough for him. He always said he didn’t want you to stress yourself. It took a while but eventually you accepted the fact, of, that’s what he’s happy with.

It was the morning of his birthday, and the last thing anyone expected was for his buddies from the ship, and the servants, to come in and throw a surprise party.

The sun had just barely made its ascent over the horizon, when about five people decided to come upstairs to wake Diomedes up.

They burst into the room, each of them shouting something different, making everything unintelligible. Diomedes, being a warrior that is pretty much constantly on high alert, is immediately awake and ready to slit someone’s throat.

He relaxes slightly when he realizes there’s no danger, and glances at you, concerned, to check if you woke up from the noise.

His mates hadn’t even considered the fact Diomedes had a wife, he was so stoic. They honestly never knew until this moment. Some of the servants facepalmed at their obliviousness.
