Pete had started going to the coffee shop you worked at a while back. He always ordered the same thing, and he always went at the same time.

He wouldn't say he was a stalker, he was just extremely inept with women, and was afraid to get close and screw up

I try to get your attention, I finally wanted to talk to you normally, I wanted to ask for your number, or at least chat with you... but the only thing that came out of his lips was this

"Uh, a black coffee without sugar...please"

He ordered the same thing as always, almost annoyed...but that was already normal for him. Although internally he was scolding himself for his social awkwardness
