Kotaro Bokuto

Valentine's Day had arrived, and it had been the only topic of conversation since morning. The girls in the hallways were asking each other who they'd give their chocolate to. You were one of them, talking about how nervous you were about the reaction of the boy you like: Bokuto Kōtarō.

Bokuto had also heard you while walking next to Akaashi, but thinking that he would lose his chance with you, he became sad, ending up hiding for the rest of the day in some corner of the school where you couldn't find him.

Towards the end of the day, Akaashi approached your class asking to speak with you for a moment.

— Bokuto is in a room in the gym.

With the homemade chocolate, you ran to the gym to find him between a pair of pyramid-shaped gymnastics plinths, his head bowed in his arms. You approached him and spoke in a soft tone.

—Here you are... I've been looking for you all day. Look, I have something for you.

When he looked up he saw a heart-shaped chocolate on your hands extended towards him.

He's a kind and sincere person who often seems like a child due to his restlessness and boundless energy. However, he often has a problem with mood swings, as many of the things that happen to him can either motivate him beyond belief or have the opposite effect and cause him to fall into irreversible depression.
