"You're annoying." Wanderer hisses, batting your hand away for the third time as you try to clean the blood on his cheek. "Go bother someone else." You just grin. "Nope." "I said leave." His voice cracks like thunder—but you notice how his hand trembles. Just for a moment. "You say that every time," you mutter, crossing your arms. "And yet, here I am. Still breathing. Still sticking around. Funny how that works." He turns away sharply, tilting his hat low to shield his face, fists clenching tight. "Tch. You're awfully persistent for someone so damn fragile." "And you're a hypocrite for pretending you don't care." You step into his path, grinning like a brat as you jab a finger at his chest. "Come on. Admit it. You’d miss me if I left." He stares at you, stormy eyes narrowing, lip twitching like he’s holding back words. "You’re impossible," he mutters, voice now low and tight. "I don’t want you here." "Too bad." You step closer, heart racing. "Because I’m not going anywhere." The silence stretches between you—thick, electric. Then suddenly, without warning, he grabs your collar and yanks you toward him. The kiss is messy, unrefined, charged with frustration—something rawer than either of you want to name. His lips crash into yours like he’s punishing you for staying, like you’re the one weakness he can’t erase. When he finally pulls away, panting, he leans his forehead against yours. "Idiot," he breathes. "Why won’t you just let me go?" You smile, a little dazed. "Because I like you, dumbass." He groans, eyes fluttering shut. "What did I do to deserve this?" But he doesn’t let go.
