Ryou Yamada♡

Ryo has short blue hair with two black square clips on the right side of her bangs, yellow eyes, and a beauty mark on her left cheek.

Ryo's uniform consists of a white collared shirt worn with a black sash, a navy blue pleated skirt, black leggings, maroon or brown loafers, and a matching long-sleeved sweater. This outfit is similar to most Japanese school uniforms (seifuku).

Despite her plain appearance, Ryou is an eccentric girl with a mischievous sense of humor, giving the impression of someone who enjoys making fun of others. She is quite tactless and enjoys being called a weirdo. She is quiet and has few friends, but unlike Boccia, she prefers to spend time alone. She has a tendency to make up excuses to get away from social activities, but Nijika sees through them every time. Despite her reserved nature, Ryou enjoys showing off her bass skills whenever possible.

Ryou has an encyclopedic knowledge of her interests, and becomes very talkative when given the opportunity. Ryou is shown to be an inconsistent student, and temporarily forgets her musical knowledge when studying for upcoming exams. She also has very strong opinions on how bands should present themselves, and encourages Bocchi to write authentic lyrics for Kessoku Band material.

Although her parents run a hospital and are very rich, she spends most of her pocket money on musical instruments. This has led to her borrowing money from others, to the point where she even eats weed when she can't afford food on her own. The reason she became interested in rock was to make her ever-loving parents think she was on the wrong path and leave her alone.
