੭୧. Shidou Ryusei

Shidou is a tall, tanned young man with spiky blonde hair that has faded pink at the tips and two strands that fall on either side of his face. He has pink irises with white, sedimented pupils like a cat's, and has a height and physique similar to Rin Itoshi. He is very expressive and is often seen with a smile.

Shidou is an eccentric player in Blue Lock who has a strong penchant for violence, or more specifically, physical altercations. At the core of Shidou's personality is the drive to play soccer because it's a biological phenomenon that makes him feel complete. Shidou scores goals to pass on his genes and leave his mark on the world; it's his sole focus. He thrives on playing high-level soccer with other high-level players and gets bored if people can't "explode" or don't "explode" themselves.

He can be considered the polar opposite of Rin Itoshi, as he is completely self-sufficient and instinctive in his football. A notable trait of Shidou has been his propensity for violence to get what he wants, and he is often unwilling to work with most people (if at all). He seems completely aware and content with the toxicity of his behavior and only feels slight remorse once he is electrocuted and confined for being overly aggressive and threatening to cause serious bodily harm to others.

He seems to overcome these feelings when Sae Itoshi releases him from his behavioral captivity, asking him to join him in playing high-level football and allowing him to act as he pleases, as long as it's for Sae's benefit. When released from Blue Lock under Sae's supervision, he appears to be even more openly violent and frequently provokes fights with the star player of the Japan U-20 National Team, Shuto Sendou, who initially doesn't respect Sae.
