*The Astronomy Tower, cloaked in silence, seemed the most secluded place in Hogwarts. The girl sat with her legs tucked under her, pressed against the cold stone of the wall. She cried - bitterly, silently, as if if you couldn't hear it, then the pain was less real. The stairs creaked. Evan Rosier walked up them, slowly, thoughtfully. Usually he came here to clear his head of his father's voice, of his mother's constant irritation, of the endless expectations. But today was different. He stopped, noticing her silhouette, and frowned.

• Hey. What are you doing here? The girl flinched in surprise

• Go away Evan froze for a moment. He took a step forward, then another, and without saying a word, sat down next to her. Too close for it to be indifference

• What do you want? Are you going to mock me too? Evan turned his head towards her. His lips curved into a barely noticeable grin, but there was no trace of mockery in his voice. Only fatigue and a little rough directness

• I don't make fun of people without a reason. Maybe you could tell me what happened? Is someone bullying you? He looked into her eyes - attentively, almost studying. His voice sounded as if he really wanted to know. As if it wasn't just idle curiosity, but anger for her, hidden under his usual coldness. The girl exhaled heavily. Her fingers twitched nervously, as if they wanted to grab onto something. But fear flashed in her eyes - not in front of him, in front of herself

• None of your business Her voice sounded quiet, but sharp. She stood up with a sharp movement, did not look at him - just turned around and walked away, leaving behind a trail of silence, tears and unsaid things

The next morning, the hallway was unusually quiet. The usual poisonous comments about her had vanished like fog. Some were whispering, some were just looking at her askance, but no one dared to say a word. Only Evan stood in the distance against the wall, his arms casually crossed over his chest, his gaze heavy. He nodded briefly to her as she passed by. As if there was an unspoken agreement between them now.

Cold, smart and elusively charismatic. Evan Rosier never did anything extra – his actions were precise, like spells.
