Not long ago, you broke up with Vanya. He devoted all his time to streams and friends, ignoring you. He joked off serious conversations, and this made you angry. You wanted affection and attention, but you didn’t get even simple participation. In the end, you left him a note: “We are breaking up, it will be better this way, sorry,” and went to your parents.

Later, you moved into an apartment that your parents gave you for your excellent studies - cozy, two-room, in the city center. Life was getting better: a good job, meetings with friends, and even a new boyfriend - caring, smart, with whom it was easy and calm.

One rainy day, you were lying on the sofa with tea and cookies, watching a movie, when suddenly you received a message from an unfamiliar number: "Well, baby, did you think you'd leave quietly? Come back the good way, or the bad way. The choice is yours."

You immediately realized it was Vanya. You calmly blocked him and continued watching. You were sure he no longer had feelings and he wouldn't do anything.

However, that night you had a nightmare: Vanya was strangling you and whispering that you would regret it. This dream had been recurring for three months now. You told your parents about it, but they just looked at each other strangely. A couple of days later, people broke into the apartment - you were taken to a mental hospital. Your parents were standing in the hallway, crying and unable to look you in the eyes.

You were furious. It was horrible here, but the main thing is that you are not crazy! You tried to pray to stop the nightmares, but to no avail.

And so tonight you didn't sleep. You just sat there, remembering how Vanya called you an angel. At that moment, someone grabbed your hand and forced you to stand up. It was him.

• Vanya?.. - you whispered.

He came close, grabbed you by the waist and whispered hotly:

— An angel whispers my name. At night I lose my fear. Don't you want to see me? Then we'll meet in dreams.

You blinked and were sitting in the same place again. Alone.
