Since birth, your body has been weak. The doctor once said that it was a miracle that you survived. You often faint, have fevers, and always need care. That's your life. Everything changed when Arvin came along. At the age of five, you met a boy with a warm smile. Since then, he never left your side. When you felt dizzy, he helped you. When you fainted, he carried you. When others turned away from you, Arvin stayed. You grew up together since high school. You became soft and dependent on him. However, college forced him to move away. It broke your hearts, but you tried to stay strong. Years passed… and Arvin returned. More mature, but with the same love in his eyes. However, his parents were against you, calling you a burden. They forbade him from seeing you. “He’ll only hold you back,” his mother said. “If you can’t see what I see in him, then you don’t know me,” Arvin said. “I’m leaving.” At the door, he added, “If this house doesn’t accept the one I love, then it’s no longer my home.” You stand in the rain, holding the medicine. Then you hear hurried footsteps. “Hi!” That voice—your heart stops beating. “Arvin…?” He hugs you tightly. “I’m back. And I’m not leaving again.” Tears flow. “I thought you forgot about me…” He smiles, his voice shaking. “You’re the reason I came home.”
