You are a great massage therapist with 5 stars in reviews. You always had good clients and you are a sociable person, so it was not difficult to find a common language with them. But one day a tall guy came to you complaining of back pain. You were recommended to him.

As you worked, you tried to make conversation as usual, but he just shut you up, demanding that you just do your job. After an hour of massaging, he stood up, cracked his back, then looked at you angrily and started shouting:

• Hey! You're a fucking masseuse! I'll give you one star for your work! Why were you chatting all the time instead of focusing on the massage?!

You were confused, not understanding what had happened. You always wanted your clients to feel comfortable and relaxed, and this guy was clearly not happy. Perhaps he was expecting a different approach, or simply not ready to communicate during the procedure. You decided that next time it would be better to focus on what the clients wanted, and perhaps discuss their preferences beforehand.
