Takami Keigo § Hawks

After the incident, the Public Safety Commission took him away from his mother and decided to train him as a hero.[2] Furthermore, the commission instilled interpersonal skills in him from a young age so he could master the art of deception and infiltration[3] and they also forced him to abandon his real name and made him undergo years of harsh training, which he accepted in order to become a hero worthy of his idol, Endeavor.[4]

Keigo soon started his own hero agency around the age of 18. In the second half of that same year, he managed to enter the Top 10 Pro Hero rankings in Japan before the age of 20, making him the first to be in the Top 10 at such a young age. Four years later, Keigo reached the rank of No. 3 Pro Hero, behind only All Might and Endeavor, without even wanting to. Unlike many heroes, Keigo was never truly interested in being the strongest or being like All Might; instead, his admiration towards Endeavor has never changed.[5]

Shortly after, Keigo's father was captured by Endeavor. Upon learning this, Keigo was shocked to discover that heroes truly existed, and even more astonished to learn that the hero who arrested his father and saved him from a life of abuse was none other than the teddy bear his mother had given him and which he always carried with him. Keigo and his mother were forced to flee their home, fearing arrest for harboring a fugitive, and ended up living on the streets. Keigo told his mother they needed to talk to the police, but she replied that they first needed to get money, asking him why he had to be born and what the point of his wings was if they were useless.

These words inspired Keigo to be of service, so he went out and saved many people from a traffic accident, drawing the attention of the adults who were surprised to see that it was a small child who had saved them. This, in turn, caught the attention of the Hero Public Safety Commission, who approached Keigo. After being informed of the situation of the boy and his mother, the commission approached Tomie, offering them both compensation and protection on the condition that they drop the surname "Takami." Keigo was born on the island of Kyushu, Fukuoka. He was conceived by his mother, Tomie, after she gave shelter to his father and helped him hide after he committed a murder, making Keigo an unwanted child. He grew up in extreme poverty, his mother shut down mentally due to the stress of her situation. His father began to drink heavily, eventually physically abusing Keigo and his mother. Keigo had a traumatic and abusive childhood, his father became an alcoholic and physically abused Keigo and his mother, she shut down mentally due to all the stress of the situation and Keigo was forced to stay home to ensure she wouldn't rat on his father.

At one point in his childhood, after much urging, his mother took him out of the house and bought him an Endeavor doll. Due to living isolated from the world throughout his childhood, Keigo grew up watching heroes on television and believed that heroes were merely fictional.

One day, Keigo's wing feathers began to tremble, and he didn't understand why he left the city, suspecting something was wrong. However, when he saw nothing was happening, he returned home. When he returned, his father became furious with him and ordered him to never leave the house again and not interact with anyone. After this, his father began beating him, telling him not to turn his back on him and muttering how free he would be if his son had never been born. In the end, Keigo suppressed all his emotions and simply accepted and endured his parents' abuse, hoping to never be as broken as his parents were.

Gift Rigid Wings (剛翼 Gōyoku): This Quirk grants Hawks a pair of large, bright red, feathery wings on his back. These wings allow him to fly, and he can telekinetically control the movement and nature of each individual feather with ease, allowing him to fire them as projectiles.

It can also sense vibrations in the air through them, allowing it to sense the location of people, similar to echolocation.[3] The feathers are considerably strong, capable of carrying medium-sized objects, such as rocks or humans, with a single feather for each or multiple feathers for larger objects.

As he sheds more feathers, his wings gradually shrink, affecting his ability to fly. When he loses all his feathers, it takes at least two days for them to grow back to half their original size, which can be a considerable weakness. His feathers are not infinite and he demonstrates a lack of them on certain occasions. Keigo has mentioned that he doesn't have enough feathers to hold up a collapsed building, but he does have enough to evacuate the victims from such a building. Furthermore, this Quirk's greatest weakness is fire, as it consumes his feathers almost instantly. However, after the paranormal war against All for One, in a fight against him, his Quirk was taken from him, so now he is a Quirkless person

Overall Abilities: Hawks is incredibly fast and cunning, befitting his position as the Number 2 Hero. He was able to effortlessly defeat an empowered villain without paying attention and kill two Nomu simultaneously.

Witty Intellect: Hawks has shown to be highly intelligent. He fools the Paranormal Liberation Front's surveillance, while maintaining his facades. He gathers sensitive information about politics within the Hero Commission, without their knowledge. Hawks is observant, cool-headed, and quick in his verbal confrontations with Dabi and Endeavor. Hawks is able to control a large amount of feathers simultaneously without looking, while carrying on a seemingly relaxed conversation. Hawks displays the ability to pretend to be relaxed, while being on constant alert.

Sharp Eyes: From atop a skyscraper, Hawks was able to spot Endeavor among hundreds of citizens, implying that he has incredibly sharp vision. Later, Endeavor observes that Hawks' eyes are even sharper.

While Hawks appears uninterested in most things, he has a good heart, as he saves all the witnesses to the Hood's attack and is quietly disgruntled by the strain of maintaining his duty as a double agent amidst a cabal of villains and terrorists. He also feels guilt over Endeavor's scar, having brought the High-Gamma Nomu attack into a contained area to reduce casualties.

He appears laid-back and unchallenged, like most prodigies, but he's actually hardworking and constantly under pressure from his Hero career. He claims to have trained tirelessly since childhood to maximize the techniques he uses with his wings, refining his rescue and combat skills.

He's a very charismatic hero, often interacting with his fans and well-liked by the general public. He has the ability to get along with his fans and have casual and informal conversations with them, as well as taking photos with them or filming autographs. However, Hawks has shown to have a serious and very determined side, in which he is willing to use any means to accomplish his job and, if the situation requires it, he is capable of taking justice into his own hands. Seeing the potential threat posed by Twice and then realizing that it would be impossible to stop him if he escaped, he killed him without hesitation, but not before trying to reason with him and convince him to surrender, initially refusing to fight him. Hawks firmly believes that a person shows their true colors when they are given the power to choose freely and make their own decisions. After the Hero Public Safety Commission shut down his activities, Hawks feels that he is now free and in a position to decide what to do with his life from now on, like a new beginning. Likewise, Hawks has made the decision to remain helpful to others.

Hawks is a relatively short man with a thin, narrow build. He points out, to himself, that his back muscles aren't broad enough. He has feathery, slicked-back ash-blond hair, with some of the front strands sticking out in arcs above his head, noticeably thick eyelashes, and some faint stubble on his chin. His eyes are golden brown and fairly triangular in shape, with two small black triangles just below the tear ducts, making his eyes look somewhat bird-like. The markings around his eyes are naturally inborn, as he had them as a child. Due to his Quirk, he has a set of large, bright red wings with feathers that gradually lengthen as they progress.

He wears a black T-shirt with a wavy gold pattern, over which he wears a light brown jacket with a high collar, the inside and cuffs of the sleeves lined with fleece, matching pants, and black gloves. He wears red diamond-shaped earrings, though these are rarely visible as he usually wears a pair of yellow earbuds over them. His earbuds are most likely for protective purposes, as the speeds at which he moves are capable of damaging eardrums beyond repair.

Still, Hawks is said to be fierce about his Hero duties, understanding the importance of a leader figure among all heroes following All Might's retirement. When around others he likes, Hawks is very talkative and can casually carry on a prolonged one-sided conversation while simultaneously helping dozens of civilians in his area of ​​influence. He also states that he will always fight for what he yearns for. Ironically, despite his peculiar Quirk, he seems to have a particular liking for bird-based foods; making him a raptor. Hawks is a very intelligent individual, as his cunning is displayed several times as he outsmarts his surveillance monitors, or as he had planned his actions in advance to explain the incident at the top of the mountain. He is rational and has more foresight than other Pro Heroes, allowing him to have the best chances of going undercover. He appears relaxed in high-pressure situations, as was the case with the new year's Hero Rankings for the Best Graphics.

Hawks's mannerisms are vivid, expressive, and highly personalized, as he always wants to convey his voice. He claims to be "bad at maintaining it," even though he possesses complete control over his facial expressions and body language, making him an extremely skilled liar. But he apparently adores the truth, finding lying too much work. These traits allowed him to easily make his way into the Liberation Army, and the slight shift in motivation expertly conveyed information about the Liberation Army's objectives and change of leadership to Endeavor.

Hawks is shown to be highly intelligent, both emotionally and logistically. He promotes a carefree and youthful attitude, while his constant vigilance is often hidden under layers of serenity and equanimity. Hawks acts relaxed, while constantly on alert. Due to his past and the way he lived during his childhood, Hawks developed a strong desire to be useful to others, which is why he follows the orders of the Hero Public Safety Commission without hesitation. However, Hawks dislikes formalities, often acting unpredictably, conceited, and mockingly. He acts indifferent and jokingly submissive, as he doesn't care about social status or recognition. He calmly agrees when Katsuki Bakugo claims to have been faster, and reacts with ironic adaptation when someone says he's younger.

Hawks believes that popular approval is the most important metric by which a hero should be judged, as it is a hero's job to reassure the citizens, something he claims he cannot do. Hawks shows a preference for lower hero levels, as it would give him more freedom and avoid the burden of being a higher hero. He states that his desire is to patrol freely and leisurely and "take it easy."

Keigo Takami (鷹たか見み啓けい悟ご Takami Keigo ?), also known as Wing Hero: Hawks (ウィングヒーロー ホークス Wingu Hīrō Hōkusu ?), is the former and current No. 3 hero. hero No.2.
