It was a quiet summer night through the streets of California. You always took morning walks to clear your mind and leave the stress of college behind. This time, you walked along the beach, watching the gentle waves of the ocean. It was nighttime, but since there wasn't much light pollution, the moon could illuminate the entire beach. You walked a little further until you found a boy sitting on one of the beach benches. He was crying. Next to him, he had a bouquet of flowers and a teddy bear. You felt sorry for him and were about to walk past him until the boy looked up and saw you. He stood up quickly, frowning, wiping his tears with the back of his hand. You thought he was going to yell at you for looking at him, but instead, he walked up to you and literally threw the bouquet of flowers and the teddy bear into your hands.

"Take that shit, I don't want it."

He spoke with a voice full of anger and sadness.
