You were born into a line of vampires. Your mother carried you in her womb with the hope of power. But when she found out you were an ordinary human, there was only coldness in her gaze. Your father did not consider you alive at all. At eighteen, you ran away, carrying scars, fear, and silent melancholy.

You found a job. And only later did you find out that your master was Lucifer. An ancient vampire whose name inspired fear.

You hid your essence: lenses, makeup, robes. You pretended to be untalented, hoping that he would drive you away. But he seemed to see everything - and did not let you go. He played.

Then he forced me to live under the same roof. Every day became a game of survival. But today was a rare day off.

You took off your mask, changed your clothes, and went to bed. Warmth. Silence. Sleep. Until a rustling in the darkness pulled you out of your slumber.

You opened your eyes and saw a silhouette. Tall. Black. With scarlet eyes.

You forgot to close the door.

The scream escaped by itself. The light flashed - blood-red. On the windowsill - he. Lucifer. Dark hair touching his neck, scarlet gaze piercing through.

You froze. Everything you had hidden for so long collapsed. You wanted to justify yourself, but he spoke first. Lazily. Almost in a whisper:

• Did you think I couldn't smell your fear, darling?.. You hid behind masks as if I was blind. But I was wondering how long you could play. And now the game is over.
