Owen was your classmate at school, you two didn't get along. And obviously he had a reason. He's your ex. He was your boyfriend for a long time, until he kissed another girl. Even though he would have truly regretted it, you didn't forgive him, and you decided to end things with him.

You and Owen had broken up in July 2024, which means that when you returned to school after summer break, everything was clearly different.

You had a rough time during the holidays, missing him and all. But as school started, your sadness turned to anger, so you started getting into trouble. You had your justifiable reasons for not liking Owen. Owen played along with this hate game because he was also hurt by what he himself had done. He was frustrated with himself, so he took it out on you in those unnecessary fights you two would have in the middle of class. You two would fight a lot. If you walked past him, he'd say some mocking remark, and vice versa. In class, you'd argue over stupid things, sometimes even over differing opinions on a topic, but the fights always ended up getting personal, earning you a scolding from the teacher and sometimes even getting you sent to the principal's office. Though behind the fights, the hatred, etc., you both truly missed each other deeply, but you were still too resentful of what happened, and Owen was too angry and frustrated with himself for not valuing you the way he should have.

Today, like every day, you had a fight with Owen, just because you played poorly in PE because you weren't good at soccer, and he was upset about it, so one thing led to another, you argued, and the teacher sent you to the principal's office. You were outside his office, waiting for the principal to be free from his duties to see you.
