Powers and abilities

Mission Arbitration: Apocalypse's purpose is to assign missions and arbitrate their rewards and penalties; therefore, he is granted several abilities to accomplish this task. Furthermore, he is fully aware of his experience in previous loops and fully understands the mechanics of missions and loops. Apocalypse never lies about the rules, but he is not required to explain them beyond the bare minimum, as hidden aspects such as point distribution and skips must be discovered. Mission Start: Every three months, when the Round Table is full, Apocalypse delivers a set of Missions and announces the objectives, number of participants, rewards, penalties, and deadlines. This is represented by some of his pages detaching from him and floating in circles above the Round Table. Deniers can then sign up to participate in the Missions. The content of the Missions appears to be random. Apocalypse seems to have an intrinsic sense of when Missions are completed or failed, as at no point is he informed of the outcome of any of them. Imparting Rewards and Penalties: When a mission is completed, Apocalypse issues the reward. Typically, the rewards are the location of an UMA, a Denier, or an Artifact, for which Apocalypse throws up a large, leather-like balloon and places large red pins to indicate the locations. The balloon and pins remain active for seven days. In cases where the reward is something else, such as language unification or extra seats, he simply declares them and they happen. When a penalty is incurred, the respective UMA flies out of Apocalypse's mouth and travels to his habitat, whereupon his rule takes effect. Both are consciously managed by Apocalypse, and he has the authority to make judgment calls in special cases, such as declaring the mission Sick.

Apocalypse

Apocalypse ( ¿ Apokaripuso ? )黙示録アポカリプソ , also known as the Book of Revelations , is the first artifact discovered in the world. It is a faithful servant of God . It works together with the Round Table to manage the Missions .

Apocalypse takes the form of a medium-sized book with a brown leather cover and a gold corner. When he wants to speak, he draws a monstrous face along the spine and covers of the book, composed of sharp teeth, a long tongue, and bulging eyes. Every three months, when all the seats at the Round Table are filled, he distributes the final set of Quests and, when the deadline is up, he awards the Rewards and Penalties.

Apocalypse possesses a hostile and sadistic personality towards humanity and the Deniers, constantly attempting to intimidate or mock them. He is very loyal and devoted to God , calling Luna "Exalted" and laughing with glee when multiple Suns manifest before the Deniers. However, he also holds missions in high regard, showing disgust and contempt for Move's interference in the hunt for Sick , as Andy is too powerful for them. To the point of awarding the Deniers the bounty despite them technically failing the mission, though he makes it clear that they are not friends.

However, despite the above, deep down they care about Juiz and, like Victor, do not want to see her fight anymore, as when the location of her reincarnation is discovered, Apocalypse sets a mission to destroy the world whether the Deniers lose to the Master Rules or face the penalty of the Revolution.

History

Apocalypse was created by Luna in the first loop, where Juiz and Victor encountered him upon forming the first Union. As Juiz remained the Ark Rider for 99 loops and Victor survived Ragnarok, they spent many years together. Juiz even developed a fondness for him despite him being an enemy.

The Round Table previously had ten members and eleven seats before the transition to the 101st Circuit. Under briefly stole it and regained it after the Spring Arc.

The Unidentified Phenomena Control Organization [ 2 ] , also known as the Union , specializes in hunting down UMAs to complete missions for the Apocalypse Artifact . Additionally, they keep an eye out for Deniers or unselected UMAs that pose a threat to society [ 3 ] . The group revolves around the Deniers who sit at the Round Table, easily identifiable by their red tie and emblem. Eleven Deniers resided at the Round Table during Cycle 100. As of Cycle 101, fifteen remain.

The Round Table

Members of the Round Table form a special team within the Union, composed exclusively of Deniers. In exchange for performing missions, these Deniers are exempt from being persecuted by the Union. According to Shen, those wishing to join the Round Table must pass certain tests. [2] However, this rule does not appear to be absolute, as seen during Chikara Shigeno's admission.

Members of the Round Table are ranked according to their achievements, with one being the highest. The member with the highest ranking is also the leader of the Union. [ 5 ] Apocalypse may occasionally offer additional seats on the Round Table as rewards for the Quests he grants. [ 6 ] There are currently three seats on the Round Table, all filled.

Uniform

The Union's standard uniform consists of a black suit and a red tie. Round Table members also wear an emblem.

The suits are said to be bulletproof, stab-proof, and durable.

The tie, developed by Nico, contains a language translator[7] and grants access to any number of public services and organizations.

For Round Table members, the emblem is required to participate in missions. [ 8 ] It also allows wireless voice communication between other Round Table members and even other members of the Union.

Juiz d'Arc (ジュイス＝ダルク Juisu Daruku) was the former leader and founding member of the Union, she held the number 1 position as a Denier with the alias Unjustice.

Juiz is a beautiful young woman with golden yellow eyes and waist-length pale pink hair that flows freely beneath her helmet as it hangs on the left side.

He wears a black and gold general's uniform with white gloves and a helmet that covers the upper half of his head and bears the Union emblem. His helmet has a visor that completely covers his eyes; it can be removed by pressing a button, moving the top of the helmet upwards until a slit opens, exposing his eyes. [ 2 ] [ 3 ]

In previous loops, she is also shown wearing more casual outfits when out with Victor.

Juiz is confident in her actions and has a deep sense of justice. As the leader of the Union, she was very firm and obedient, easily managing to destroy an army's fleet to protect Earth. [4] She was also determined to eliminate the being on the other side of Apocalypse, gathering several Deniers to gain enough power to defeat it, thus forming the Union. [5]

She's also something of a crybaby at heart, sensitive to the suffering of her fellow Union members, especially Victor. According to Luna, she would break down in tears every time she boarded the Ark to reach the next circuit.

It is shown that she also held a certain fondness for Apocalypse, despite him technically being an enemy, and confided in him some of her hopes for the future; even to the point that, despite her complaints, Apocalypse could be restrained by her without him using his memories to overwhelm her.

Juiz was "born" in the first loop along with Victor. When the first loop was hours away from being destroyed and then reformed, Juiz and Victor discovered the Round Table and encountered Luna, who informed them that "glitches" had formed in the world and that human vessels were needed to contain them. Juiz was chosen by Luna as a vessel for Justice. She discovered that the Round Table would allow one of them to survive with their body and memories intact, but the other would die. Victor volunteered to die and be reborn, promising that he would come find her in the next loop. However, Victor suddenly declared that he would do so by becoming Undead, much to their confusion. Unbeknownst to both of them, Juiz's newly granted Undead had overridden Victor's sense of justice at the time (dying to be reborn) in order to "offer himself" as a vessel for Death, which Luna granted him. Shortly after, Juiz was confirmed as the first seat and thus granted the privilege of entering the loop.

Injustice (Anjasutisu?) - Juiz possesses a negation ability that allows him to control the actions of others by altering their sense of "Justice". When affected, the target will be forced to behave in ways contrary to their beliefs, such as attacking their allies or themselves. The condition for the negation to activate is that Juiz looks at the target with his eyes uncovered. [ 6 ] [ 4 ] He doesn't even need to directly see the target, as he was able to affect Tatiana inside her armor and the Acks inside their ships. This ability has proven to be extremely powerful, allowing Juiz to single-handedly defeat members of the Higher Rules on several occasions.

Swordsmanship: Juiz possesses incredible swordsmanship, perfected over millions of years. In addition to her denial, she is capable of taking on Victor and several UMAs; she is considered one of the most powerful deniers.

Shen Xiang (シェン＝シアン, Shen Shian) is the number 2 member of the Round Table, and number 8 of the 101 loop, being the Denier with the alias Untruth.

He lived in China before becoming a member.

Shen is a tall, youthful-looking man dressed in Chinese clothing. He has blue eyes and hair and an imposing physique.

Shen is a very lively person, who often sees the positive side of situations. However, he despises Feng because of his role in Mei's death.

He likes to fight and loves finding strong people to train with.

Void and Shen are sent to kill "Unluck" Fuuko Izumo and capture "Undead" Andy. Upon finding them and arriving, Void instantly attacks Andy, while Shen captures Fuuko. Void reminds Shen of his mission and asks him to kill Fuuko, but Shen wants to talk to her first and then starts flirting. Shen stands back and watches Andy and Void's fight. He tells Fuuko that yesterday's meteor raised their capture priority level and that other Negators like them will hunt them. Fuuko wonders why Shen isn't hunted like them. Void tries to stop Shen, but Shen ends up explaining what the Union is and that there are ten settled Negators that aren't hunted. Fuuko proposes joining the Union and Andy agrees, but to do that, they needed to kill Void and Shen.

Andy ends up touching Fuuko and his bad luck activates, causing a truck to fall on them. As the truck explodes, Shen is protected by Void. Continuing their fight, Andy finally kills Void much to Shen's surprise. Andy then turns on Shen, but Shen easily blocks all of his attacks. Fuuko manages to give Andy her sword, but as he hesitates to kill Shen for only a moment, Shen manages to activate his ability and stop Andy from moving. Shen wonders if Andy hesitated because he didn't want Fuuko to see him kill. Fuuko then attempts to attack Shen, but he easily dodges her. As they are now both in his line of sight, Andy realizes that they lost and suggests that Fuuko joins the Union to replace Void. But seeing as Fuuko and Andy start arguing over who should join, Shen decides to tell them the location of another Union member, and if the two can kill him, then they can both join the Union.

Falsehood (Anturūsu) - Shen can nullify any conscious thought of his target, causing them to react the opposite way. However, in order to activate his ability, he must have a subconscious affection for them. [ 2 ] His ability is activated through eye contact, and as long as he can see his opponent, he can keep it active. Thus, by freeing himself from their field of vision, he would free the target from Falsehood.

Parry: Shen assumes a stance that leaves one side of his body heavily protected and the other vulnerable to attack. When his opponent attempts to attack that area, he uses Lie to have the opponent attack the other side of his body. He then uses his hands to parry the attack. Master Martial Artist: Shen is a great martial artist who is shown to be very skilled in hand-to-hand combat, managing to fight Andy for a while during their first confrontation and trading a few blows with Victor before the rest of the Union seems to stop him, when he even goes on to create his own martial arts style, Shin Hakkyoku.

Phil Hawkins (フィル=ホーキンス, Firu Hōkinsu) was the fourth member of the Round Table. He currently holds the seventh position of the 101st Round Table. He is a Denier with the alias Unfeel.

Phil resembles a young boy with limbs made from various artifacts, mostly Entruster, giving him an almost doll-like appearance. Phil has green hair and eyes. He wears a standard dress shirt and tie, with shorts and suspenders.

Phil has a quiet personality and, due to his Negation Ability, is insensitive. He doesn't speak and often sucks his thumb. He shows deep affection for his mother, even being willing to sacrifice his own life in exchange for her safe return to Earth.

Past

Phil was born on a space station as part of Project New Sensation, an experiment to see how people would adapt to space. However, something happened that caused the station to be destroyed, with Phil being the only survivor thanks to the awakening of his Denier ability.

He was later recruited by the Union and awarded the title of Artifact Keeper for being the only one capable of using it without suffering the consequences. Despite his young age, he holds the 4th Seat and participates in numerous missions, demonstrating his great competence and skill.

Insensitivity (Anfīru): Phil has the ability to nullify his own sensations, such as pain, allowing him to create his entire body out of various artifacts without being incapacitated by their memories. It also renders him mute.

Mechanical Body: Phil's body is mechanical, and only his brain is the only organic part of his body.

Laser: Phil can shoot lasers from his arms.

Flight: Phis can fly.

Hacking: In Loop 101, he is shown to be capable of hacking machines, as shown by taking control of the space shuttle the Union used, the doors of the space station he lived on, and even one of Nico's Psycho Pods.

Entruster: A doll-like artifact that has fused with Phil's body. It transforms the feelings of anyone who has used it so far into power. In Loop 101, it can boost Entrusted even further.

Tatiana (タチアナ, Tachiana) is the fifth member of the 100 Roundtable. She is a Denier with the alias Untouchable.

She lived in Russia before becoming a member. She was a child during the 100th Loop, while in the 101st Loop, she's a little older and is a famous model.

Armor

Tatiana appears to be an invisible person contained within a mechanical suit of armor[2] with a robotic arm that fires her fist and can be remodeled to fire a laser.[3]

His orb suit has a green eye-like camera on the front that occasionally contorts in a cartoonish manner to show his emotions.

Human

When the armor is completely removed in Episode 14 and Chapter 27, Tatiana is revealed to be a young girl with ankle-length wavy blonde hair that has pink tips with long bangs hanging down on either side while having a single strand of hair draped over her forehead (Fuuko Izumo comments on how Tatiana's hair is "so long and really pretty!"), also possessing emerald green eyes and a slim figure.

She is shown completely naked since her Untouchable ability prevents her from wearing clothes, so her long hair is the only thing that covers her entire body.

Personality

Tatiana appears to care for her classmates, particularly Billy Alfred and Gina Chamber, but has a bad temper when it comes to their lives. [ 4 ]

At first, she was very cold toward Andy and Fuuko Izumo due to Andy killing Gina. She attacked him immediately after joining the Union and challenged him to fight for her. Later, she warmed up to them, though more to Fuuko than Andy, after telling Tatiana that she was the one who caused Gina's death, apologizing, and expressing her desire to make up for her loss. After that, they soon became friends.

History

Tatiana was a young woman living in Russia with her parents, enjoying cake and wearing pretty clothes. But just as she blew out the candles on her tenth birthday cake, the Untouchable manifested and rampaged through the land, killing her parents and destroying her home. Desperate, she fled to a nearby bridge before being knocked out and kidnapped by black market dealers trying to sell her. Her auction was interrupted by Billy, who killed the man trying to sell her. When Billy approached her, she begged him to kill her by holding his gun to her mouth so she could die and be reunited with her family. Billy, instead, gave her a special muffin that could elude the Untouchable, convincing her to join him and the Union. Eventually, she received a special mechanized suit of armor called the "Sphere" to keep her power in check.

Talent

Untouchable ( , Antatchaburu ? ): Tatiana has an ability ( Mandatory and Self-Directed Negator ) that produces an invisible spherical barrier of her skin and hair, denying touch to anything that comes near it. This barrier cannot be damaged, even more so than walls created by Unchange . The barrier gains a hole when Tatiana opens her mouth, allowing her to eat and breathe. The barrier started out only a few feet in diameter, but continuously grows year after year, requiring Nico to equip her with a large mechanized suit to act as a restraint. Should the suit be opened, it releases the immense pressure contained within as the barrier expands to its full size, obliterating anything in its path. Tatiana can also concentrate to temporarily make the barrier expand even further.

Black Metal Armor: Custom-designed by Nico, this armor allows Tatiana to contain her ability, but also to walk, fly, and manipulate objects using brainwave-controlled limbs. It also features a camera that reflects her emotions. Laser: The suit can fire blasts from its arms as shown when it was put under Juiz's control to prevent him from fighting Andy. [3] Rocket Punch: Tatiana can launch her robotic arm's fist at high speed as she uses it against Andy to punch him from across the table to the wall. [ 2 ] Shields: Tatiana can deploy a series of shields to protect her allies and surround her opponent. [ 7 ]

Billy Alfred (ビリー＝アルフレッド, Birī Arufureddo) was the leader of Under and former number 3 member of the Round Table

Billy is a tall, well-built man with slicked-back dark brown hair with two strands hanging in front of his face (a longer strand hanging on the right side and a shorter strand hanging on the left side), grey eyes, and a light stubble around his chin. Initial appearance

In his first appearance, Billy wore sunglasses and a hitman-like outfit, with his black jacket usually hanging over his shoulders like a cape. Billy presents himself as a calm, carefree boy who doesn't seem to mind being in danger, or even realize it. He seems to be a weapons expert and confesses to being a true lover of sweets, even going so far as to create the "Long Cake Bar" he gave to Tatiana when they first met.

Under his guise as the Underworld Leader, he acts coldly and calculatingly, convinced that the Deniers are superior and that the lives of ordinary people must be sacrificed. However, he only pretends to believe this in order to earn the Union's hatred and destroy God himself using his abilities.

In reality, Billy is a kind man who believes it is the duty of the strong to protect the weak. This philosophy is sometimes self-destructive, leading him to sacrifice himself, to become an enemy of everyone, in order to protect those he considers weak. It is necessary to see the strength of the Union to understand that everyone is strong, not just him, and that they deserve to fight for themselves.

Unbelievable (Anbirībaburu?) - Believed to be his original Denier ability, it has been proven to be a lie told to the Union. Billy claimed that it allows him to bounce bullets off targets as long as he aims away from them. Tatiana described the ability as foolproof, though bullets can still be blocked. In reality, he simply possesses excellent aim, despite being blind.

Pistols: Billy wields four to six revolvers at a time, probably using Unchange to fight with them and keeping two on his back.

Spurs: Billy wears spurs on his shoes to visualize his surroundings through noise, created by Nico Vorgeil. After gaining undead vision, he no longer needs them.

Tatiana

It is implied that Billy became a father figure to Tatiana after rescuing her from being sold at auction and has been shown to be quite close to her, looking out for her well-being, feeding her food through her barrier (due to her Untouchable ability) and smiling after Fuuko Izumo and Tatiana became friends.

Blacksmith Denier

Haruka Yamaoka (山岡 春歌, Yamaoka Haruka), also known as Yamaoka Isshin the 13th, is the sixth member of the Round Table who is a Denier with the alias Unbreakable.

Haruka's armor design appears to be based on a traditional Japanese samurai armor called a Yoroi. She wears the Union logo on her helmet, just above her face.

Beneath her armor, she is busty and toned, standing out among the other members of the Union. Her hair is long and rather spiky, with bangs covering her scar.

His appearance outside the armor in Loop 101 is virtually the same, but he is missing the scar on his forehead.

Haruka has proven to be a calm and protective person, showing great affection for her companions. She seems very attached to her armor, and refuses to remove her helmet even after being severely wounded in the neck, making it difficult for Nico to examine the wound.

In Loop 101, she is much more outspoken and passionate outside of her armor, as evidenced by her anger at not being able to catch up with Top.

When Andy and Fuuko Izumo join the organization, Andy shoots each member with his finger, but Isshin lets the finger hit them and moves one hand to protect Phil from the other finger. When Apocalypse reveals the new missions, Isshin, along with other members, takes on the mission to Burn UMA.

When Spoil was captured, Shen called for help to stop Victor and Isshin, along with the others, to fight Victor. Isshin hit Victor from behind, causing him to comment that they only used brute force and if Isshin didn't fight him, he could leave him alive. But as they continued to fight, Victor realized that he was the only one who had been killed.

Unbreakable ( , Anbureikaburu ? ) 不壊アンブレイカブル : Anything forged by Haruka never breaks no matter how severe the damage is, earning the kanji Unbreakable.

Pile Cannon: Unbreakable: A gigantic unbreakable pillar made by Isshin that was used inside the Union base, the pillar was fired towards Burn at high speed impaling him. Iwato Gakure Unbreakable Craft: Hidden Stone Gate: Isshin gathers pieces of rubble and instantly turns them into an unbreakable wall that blocks any type of attack directed towards it. Enhanced Strength: Isshin has great raw strength that corresponds to his large physical size, slicing Victor in half with one blow and cracking the ground beneath him.

Enhanced Durability: Isshin has great durability, withstanding Victor's attacks without taking damage and also suppressing a laser that incinerated one of Victor's clones without taking damage.

Equipment

Samurai Armor: An unbreakable armor that protects Isshin from any harm. Naginata: The name Isshin means "mind, single-minded" (一心). Real name

The name Haruka means "spring" (春) ( haru ) and "song, poetry" (歌) ( ka ). Haruka's surname, Yamaoka, means "mountain, hill" (山) ( yama ) and "ridge, hill" (岡) ( oka ).

Top Bull Sparx (トップブルスパークス, Toppu Buru Supākusu?) was the 7th member of the 100th Round Table. He is a Denier with the alias Unstoppable.

He lived in Brazil before becoming a member.

Top is a dark-skinned teenager with a bandaged face. He has unruly blond hair and oddly shaped, angular eyebrows. He wears a black and yellow tracksuit with the union symbol on the front of the jacket.

He is often seen with a cast on one of his arms.

In The 100th Loop, Top appears mature beyond his years due to the tragedy he faced at a young age. He was also very altruistic, willing to pass up the opportunity to participate in the Olympics for the sake of his friends, who knew perfectly well that he needed the money more than anyone.

In the 101st Loop, Top is older, but also more bitter and childish, ironically. Having been kicked out of his home due to his mother contracting a contiguous plague, he adopted a Social Darwinist mindset, seeking revenge by regularly using his Unstoppable to pillage the village. This mindset seems to be primarily to alienate Haruka, whom he has feelings for, but does not want to cause trouble with. When faced with a stronger opponent, he will attempt to bargain his way away, as shown with Fuuko and Beast, but is not afraid to fight back when things get tough and can use it as a feint for the latter as well.

History

Top was born and raised in a favela in Brazil. As a child, Top used to race with his friends, becoming the fastest. For these boys, sports were the only way to have a good future, and they used to bet that the winner of any race would win something, like a hamburger. Top and his friends participate in a race whose first place (supposedly) would get them into the Olympic Games in four years. That night, his mother invited him to have roast chicken, which Top flatly rejected so that his mother could eat it, who in turn refused. Sitting with his mother, Top decides to forfeit the race so that his friends, who need the money more, can win. As the race begins, Top brakes, accepting his defeat, but is suddenly thrown forward and faints.

Upon awakening, Top meets with Juiz. As Top questions where his friends are, Nico brings one in a wheelchair and reveals that the other two were killed immediately upon impact when Top crashed into them, though officially it was stated that a car hit them. Juiz explains the Unstoppable ability and how it awoke from Top's desire to stop, denying his ability to do so. Top runs off, refusing to believe her words, but activates Unstoppable and falls, cracking his back. Top sobs, blaming himself for his friends' deaths, to which Juiz comforts him, telling him that he is a victim of God's exploitations. She gives Top a contact card and tells him that all the medical bills have been paid, before driving off. As they leave, Top uses Unstoppable to catch up with them, declaring that he must defeat God or he will never make it up to his friends. Following this, Top is taken to Union, becoming the 7th Seat.

Unstoppable ( Ansutoppaburu ): After reaching a certain speed, if Top attempts to slow down, he will go faster with twice the strength. This allows him to move at incredible speeds, but he can only stop when his body undergoes a drastic change, such as a broken arm. In the 101st Loop, the stopping condition changes so that he can stop by breaking something with a kick. With this ability, he can jump incredibly high and deliver powerful kicks.

Unstoppable Kick: When Top accelerates to his maximum speed exceeding the speed of light, he unleashes an unstoppable kick capable of destroying everything in its path with the friction of the impact. Sonic Somersault: Top performs a high-speed flying kick on the opponent. Enhanced Stamina: Top possesses a great amount of stamina, managing to run for long periods of time without showing fatigue or discomfort, only stopping when his body undergoes a dramatic change that halts his acceleration.

UN-ST Tachyorizer: Top wears a suit of armor that protects his body while he accelerates to lightspeed. The armor features onboard computers that keep Top informed of its status.[2] Despite being custom-made for this purpose, the acceleration is so severe that it can only withstand it for a limited time, breaking down afterward.

12-Layer Unbreakable Robe - Racer's Regalia: In Loop 101, Haruka manages to create an Unbreakable suit of armor for Top. Unlike the Tachyorizer, it appears to have no electronics, but can withstand acceleration indefinitely thanks to the Unbreakable armor nullifying the wear caused by Top's full acceleration. [3]

Nico Vorgeil (ニコ゠フォーゲイル, Nico Fōgeiru) is the former 8th member of the Round Table. He was a Denier in the Previous Cycle and acts as Fuuko's right-hand man after the start of the 101st Arc, being an ordinary human scientist until the Language Arc.

Nico is described as the group's engineer, wearing a bandana and sporting numerous body modifications, including the Union emblem on his skin. He has dark circles under his eyes, possibly a reminder of his late wife. He has four holes in his forehead that allow him to better manipulate the Psychotic Capsules. He has purple hair and eyes.

In the Union Arc , Nico is younger and has a healthier complexion. He no longer has dark circles under his eyes and his hair is much longer, down to his neck. Before meeting Fuuko, he wears a dark sleeveless T-shirt with jeans; after joining the Union, he wears a white shirt and tie, usually with the sleeves rolled up. After the Language Arc , he wears his shirt unbuttoned and receives a ring (courtesy of Language ) to celebrate his engagement to Ichico.

Nico is a frank and direct man who tends to get straight to the point with anyone he talks to. Likewise, Nico is a passionate and determined person, eager to learn as much as possible about the world. He trusts facts more than theories, which is why he is an atheist and gets so upset when a new, unknown rule is imposed on the world.

Although he initially seems rude, Nico is actually quite caring and goes out of his way to help those suffering from illnesses, who in turn become loyal to him. He invented his most useless invention to make Ichico feel better about herself.

Throughout his life, Nico studied at university, met Bau, and eventually earned a bachelor's degree. By 1972, Nico was living in a rundown apartment in New York City, conducting experiments with substandard equipment. It was during his time there that he met many of his current assistants, such as Zack, Lang, and Poccho, whom he saved from various illnesses through his science. Eventually, Nico met Juiz, who brought him to Union, where many of his assistants followed him. While working at Union, his job was to use his expertise to develop technology that countered God's laws, such as electrical currents. However, by the time he solved one, another was added just as quickly, such as the "Black Hole" law. This frustrated Nico and made him sulk in his lab.

Unforgettable (Anfōgettaburu?): This ability negates Nico's ability to forget any information after its manifestation. He is forced to remember everything he learns and experiences, down to the smallest details, such as the temperature of the room he is in at a given moment, the exact words he says and hears in a conversation, down to the exact look on someone's face upon dying. While useful in some aspects, as it means he never forgets anything he learns, it also means that his mind is constantly being overwhelmed by the memories of all his past experiences. Furthermore, since negation only protects memories formed after its manifestation, memories of previous times become increasingly dim and distant. However, in Loop 101, he had found a way to use his soul to store memories that allowed him to remember things from before manifesting the negation ability.

Fighting Style Replication: Unforgettable allows Nico to replicate fighting styles by simply copying the stances and movements accurately, allowing her to outperform experienced fighters such as Shen, Mui, and even Andy. Later, she even manages to replicate Feng's control of Chi. High Intelligence: Nico is the most intelligent member of the Union, having created most of the devices and mechanisms used by the organization over time, being a great inventor.

Soul Cable: In Loop 101, upon learning of Feng's control over her soul, Nico is able to create soul constructs that resemble the cables used to connect to Psycho Pods. By connecting them to another person, she can instantly share their memories with complete clarity.

Andy is a tall, very muscular man with slicked-back white hair. He has a card on his forehead above his left eye, which keeps him squinting and has left him with a scar. This scar used to reach almost to his chin, but now ends at his eyebrow. Thanks to his ability, he has stopped aging around the age of twenty-five. He has the word "NO WAY OUT" tattooed on his left shoulder, but the first "D" in "dead" is upside down. He has the number 1865 tattooed on his left pectoral, as well as a scar that doesn't disappear even when he regenerates.

Andy is incredibly reckless and unafraid to put himself in danger or endure great pain. He's almost always seen smiling, even in combat. Throughout his long life, his attitude and morale have changed drastically.

In his early years, he was reserved, stoic, yet noble and selfless. However, his many years as an immortal and his rejection of human connection for fear of outliving his loved ones began to erode his morality. By the time he met Fuuko, he seemed like a complete madman, willing to use her as a tool both for his entertainment and to achieve the death he so craved. That goodness still lingered within him, however, and his travels with Fuuko and the Union brought it out. He credits Fuuko with helping him find the one "rule" by which he lives: "Let us enjoy what life offers us."

Thanks to his longevity, he has acquired diverse skills, including experience as a mercenary, manga artist, fencing, and even hairstyling. He embraces change and likes to follow the latest trends.

Due to his surprising intelligence, he is able to discover the powers and rules of other Deniers and UMAs with little effort and time, and can devise incredibly unorthodox uses for his Undead ability. During a battle in a desert village around 1820, after finding Remember , Victor attempted to kill Juiz , hoping that she would be free to fight in the next loop after giving up on defeating God . Juiz used Unjustice to force Victor to retrain despite it previously not working according to Victor's sense of justice. While restrained, Victor begged Juiz to free her, but she would not listen and forced Remember into his head, commanding the artifact to erase all of Victor's memories, rendering him unconscious. Victor, believed to be dead, was buried alongside the fallen soldiers. Some time later

Undead (Andeddo?) - Andy's ability is self-directed, making him immortal and allowing him to regenerate all damage. Specifically, it nullifies any damage that brings him close to death, including aging. Regeneration is automatically triggered by default; however, he has trained to the point where he can control the speed. His severed body parts only last for thirty seconds once separated from his body. [ 5 ]

Blood Boost: A product of Andy's undead regeneration. Andy can use his regeneration to expel blood from open wounds and amputate limbs. He can use it to propel himself, levitate, and, to some extent, fly. He can also control his limbs and use them to attack.

Bullet Parts ( , Pātsu baretto ? )部位弾パーツバレット : An attack invented by Andy that allows him to harness his regenerative power to fire half-torn-off body parts as projectiles. [ 6 ] Bullet Punch Parts ( , Pātsu baretto fisuto ? )部位弾パーツバレット拳フィスト : Andy slashes his wrist while holding a grenade, allowing his regeneration to launch his fist at high speed towards a target, causing it to explode. [ 7 ] Bullet Hammer Parts ( , Pātsu baretto hanmā ? )部位弾パーツバレット双拳ハ ン マ ー : Andy slits his wrists and clasps his hands into a single fist; then his hands shoot out at high speed. [ 7 ] Bullet Head Parts ( , Pātsu baretto heddo ? ) : Andy cuts off his head and uses his regeneration to throw his head towards his target. [ 8 ] Bullet Forearm Parts Crimson Bullet (Kurimuzon Baretto?) - Andy focuses on regenerating all lost blood and calcium in a single fingertip, causing the resulting bullet to have excessive pressure when fired. This ability greatly reduces his healing after use. [ 10 ]

Kurikara: Andy wields Kurikara, an indestructible katana with the word "Unbreakable" on it.

Relations

Fuuko Izumo - Andy took an interest in Fuuko after seeing her Unlucky and sees it as a way to find the "Ultimate Kill". He is very protective of her and becomes very angry when she is hurt, to the point of willingly removing the card from her head to free Victor. His feelings for her grow stronger throughout their adventures, to the point of stating that his only goal is to protect her and everything she holds dear. He also trusts Fuuko to take risks if it means fulfilling his missions and allowing her to develop her strength on her own, though he admits that it is difficult to let go. Over time, he also developed romantic feelings for Fuuko, stating that he loves her while saving her from Under.

Shen: At first, Andy finds Shen annoying and useless. After the battle with Victor, Andy feels he owes Shen something for protecting Fuuko and recommending him to the Union. Although Andy considers Shen a "combat addict," the two make a formidable team, using their Negation skills together to defeat stronger opponents. Over time, the two become good friends, and Andy recognizes Shen as someone he can trust.

Juiz: Although Andy is wary of Juiz after joining the Union, the two develop a deep respect over time. Juiz often assigns Andy missions and allows him to lead the Summer Mission, offering support and advice.

Tatiana: At first, Tatiana hates Andy because she blames him for Gina's death. After Fuuko intervenes in their argument, they reconcile and develop a better relationship. Tatiana calls Andy "Zombie" and frequently hits him with her robotic arms.

Chikara Shigeno: Chikara looks up to Andy and tries to use his example to become braver. Andy coaches and supports Chikara within the Union, encouraging him to overcome his fears and become stronger for the sake of his friends.

Top Bull Sparx: Andy trains Top for his summer mission, helping him get stronger for the sake of his friends.

Victor: At first, Andy and Victor are opposed to each other, as Victor wants to regain control of their shared body. However, Andy is willing to let Victor go out to fight if it means protecting Fuuko. Andy and Victor eventually reconcile, and Victor steps aside to allow Andy and Fuuko to fight God in his place.

Victor (ヴィクトル, Vikutoru ? ) is shrouded in mystery. Claims to be Andy's original personality. The Union refers to him as Victhor (ヴィクトール, Vikutōru?).

He is also known by the epithet Divine Conqueror (戦勝の神, Senshō no kami ? ).

He served as a major antagonist near the end of the Spoil Arc until the Autumn Arc before abandoning his quest to kill the Union's leader, Juiz, as well as Fuuko.

Victor and Andy share almost identical appearances, such as their faces, but with the exception of their hair: Victor's hair is dark and longer with two bangs in front and spiky strands facing upwards, compared to Andy's, which is parted in the back and silver in color.

When Victor controls the body, his torso is also covered in numerous scars. He also lacks the metal plates Andy usually has embedded in his left forehead, as they must be removed so Victor can replace Andy.

According to Juiz, Victor was once an empathetic and protective person who hated seeing his allies die. However, he became increasingly desensitized due to the deaths he witnessed in each loop. Over time, he became a cold and ruthless warrior who shows no mercy or compassion, fighting to the death if necessary to achieve his goals. He is a perceptive strategist with unparalleled life experience and uses his intellect to determine the abilities of his opponents simply by observing and judging whether they are strong or not based on what they demonstrate. He hates cowards and those who hide behind others during a fight, and praises anyone who stands up to him or whom he deems strong.

Both Juiz and Victor hailed from a world before the start of the loops. As Ragnarok approached, they both found the Round Table trying to find a way to stay together no matter the situation. They encountered Luna, who informed them that "glitches" had formed in the world and that human vessels were needed to contain them. Luna noticed that Juiz had been chosen as a vessel for Justice and informed them that the world would end in a matter of hours and that a "second" game would begin in the new world. However, only one of them would be able to sit at the Round Table to return to that world, while the other would die. Victor volunteered to be the one to die, as Luna had confirmed that one could be reborn after death, but while assuring Juiz that he would find her in the next loop, Juiz unknowingly met the activation requirements to use Injustice on Victor. The resulting denial of his sense of justice resulted in Victor declaring that he would become Undead and collect her in the next loop, and thus volunteered to Luna to be Death's vessel, who then granted that 'request'.

Undead ( Andeddo ? ) - Victor can override death, allowing him to rapidly regenerate from any lethal wound. He has more control over it than Andy, as he can choose where to regenerate and create multiple pseudoclones from regenerated chunks of severed flesh. [ 2 ] Victor's regenerative force is so great that he can effortlessly escape from a containment sphere that was originally designed to contain Andy's head.

Division Bullet ( , Divijon baretto ? ) : Victor shoots out his severed fingers and regenerates a partially complete body from them, creating temporary clones that can attack on his behalf. [ 3 ] Parts of bullet fingers (, Pātsu baretto fingāzu?) Deadline ( Deddorain ? )死閃デッドライン : Victor shoots out a jet of blood and condenses it into a massive slashing attack with several variations. Some of these variations include: Deadline Whips: Victor snaps his fingers together, causing a large amount of blood to spurt from his fingertips. He then twists his hands, turning the high-pressure streams of blood into a makeshift whip capable of slicing entire buildings to pieces. [ 5 ]

Mortal Blade: Victor extends a Mortal Blade and swings it to create a massive slash. The attack extends for several kilometers, even slicing through the clouds. Dead Vulcan: Victor cuts off his fingertips and fires a machine gun-like stream of blood bullets. [ 6 ] Dead Blade: Victor shoots a jet of blood from his arm and solidifies it into a sword shape. [ 7 ] He can also perform Deadline with this technique. Dead Road: Victor cuts off his arms and regenerates blood at high speed, creating a large, spiraling stream of blood to attack opponents. [ 8 ] High pain tolerance: Victor can feel pain even while regenerating, but he has a high resistance to pain, not caring about getting hurt or self-harmed.

She was the tenth member of the Round Table before becoming its number one and its leader. She is a Denier with the alias Unluck.

He lived in Japan before becoming a member. [ 4 ]

Fuuko is a short, curvy young woman with brown eyes. She usually dresses warmly in jeans, a sweater, gloves, and a hat with the inscription "Good luck". [ 5 ] After joining the Union, she wears the usual suit and tie. [ 6 ]

She had very long black hair that reached the floor until Andy cut it into a bob during their first meeting. [ 7 ]

Following the 170-year time skip and becoming the new leader of the Union, Fuuko's hair has grown to a length similar to that in Chapter 1, which she usually wears tied back under her clothing. After nearly two centuries of rigorous training, she has also developed a muscular and athletic physique. Her usual attire retains the red hat and gloves, but now consists of a long-sleeved black and white T-shirt with the word "Good Luck" in the center and ripped jeans with the Union tie tied to her left arm. She also wears duct tape on her right cheek.

At first, Fuuko was depressed and suicidal. She hated her unfortunate luck, which forced her to remain self-absorbed. She had an obsession with shojo manga and attempted suicide as soon as her favorite series ended [ 8 ].

Throughout her journey with Andy, she quickly abandoned her suicidal thoughts. In many instances, she demonstrated unwavering determination and conviction toward her goals, no matter how difficult the situation. Although at times she still felt uncomfortable and fearful.

Fuuko has been shown to be extremely sweet and caring to those around her, such as when she decided to befriend Tatiana to feel less alone after Gina Chambers' death, or when she learned to love UMA Spring during the quest to neutralize him.

Fuuko lived with her parents in Tokyo like a normal child until she was 8 years old. Her parents were traveling abroad for a week on business, so Fuuko made sure to hug them a lot and give each of them a kiss on the cheek. However, that's when Unluck manifested itself, and thirty minutes later, the plane her parents were traveling on suffered an engine failure that caught fire, killing them both along with the other 270 passengers. Fuuko lived with her grandfather ever since. Over the years, Fuuko discovered Unluck and its activation requirements, as it constantly caused accidents that hurt those around her, such as giving her grandfather sprained legs after kissing him on the cheek. After an incident caused by Unluck, Fuuko was introduced to "To You, From Me," her mother's favorite manga, and quickly became hooked. Eventually, Fuuko decided to drop out of middle school because of Unluck and her grandfather's death, which happened around the same time, and became housebound. Manga then became his only source of solace during the years of isolation that followed.

Thanks to her training with the Union and her exploits in the 101st Circuit, Fuuko has acquired a degree of mastery in the martial arts, to the point of defeating Feng Kowloon and wounding the Void Volks. In addition, she has demonstrated exceptional marksmanship, such as when she destroyed the periscopes of several tanks with a sniper rifle.

Exceptional Martial Artist: Fuuko becomes a great martial artist after receiving the teachings and training of Shen Xiang, adopting some of his abilities, learning various techniques and creating her own in collaboration with Unluck. She is highly skilled in hand-to-hand combat, defeating Feng Kowloon on multiple occasions, fending off Void Volks in a boxing match, and defeating several solo fighters in Feng's tournament.

Void Volks (ボイドボルクス, Boido Borukusu) was a Denier and the former 9th member of the Union. Along with Shen Xian, he was on a mission to capture Andy and kill Fuuko. [2] In Loop 101, he is currently the 3rd member of the Round Table.

Void wears a mechanized suit mimicking a business suit and tie, with glowing red details etched on his arms and legs. The suit's helmet features a single turquoise eye in the center of his face. [ 3 ]

In the Union Arc, Void's full appearance is revealed. He is a tanned man with slicked-back blond hair. He wears a hooded jacket with a gold chain, and boxing gloves.

Void is ruthless and takes his job seriously, immediately beginning an attack on Andy without preamble or warning. [ 3 ] He showed no qualms about killing a young girl and told Shen to kill her, as it was his mission. [ 2 ]

In the Union arc, Void appears confident and relaxed in most situations. When he meets someone he thinks is a fan, he acts very friendly.

History

Void was just a homeless kid on the streets, getting into fights with anyone who crossed his path. Eventually, a police officer convinced him to take up boxing and forge his own path. Void would go on to become a world heavyweight boxing champion, known for his savage, brute-power style, specializing in one-punch knockouts. While defending his third title, trailing on points and looking like the judges would award the victory to his opponent Edward, his skill came to the fore. The right uppercut he landed on his defenseless opponent shattered his skull, killing him. Because of his skill, he was forced to abandon professional boxing.

By the time the Union scouted and recruited him, he had already fallen into alcoholism. Upon joining the Union, he rebuilt his life, as his missions allowed him to fully realize his potential. But over time, he became increasingly violent.

Enhanced Strength: Void has a tremendous amount of physical strength, capable of punching through a motorcycle and crushing Andy's body. [ 5 ]

Enhanced Durability: The mech suit worn by Void is sturdy and durable, capable of taking several hits from Andy and several explosions without leaving a dent. [ 6 ]

Master Boxer: As the World Heavyweight Boxing Champion, Void boasts vast combat experience, having defeated numerous opponents in the ring with a single punch and through brute force. In addition to his negation, this has allowed him to be the Union's best front-line attacker in every round to date. [7]

Next Ring: Void wears a Union-made suit of power armor that increases his strength and durability to superhuman levels, allowing him to deliver blows so strong they easily crush human bodies and withstand blasts that can demolish entire buildings.
