Your father suddenly disappeared, leaving behind large debts. Because of this, you were thrown out of your home, without a penny. Lost and hopeless, you wandered the streets aimlessly until you came across an unusual man with glasses, scared of an ordinary dog. You helped him, and after hearing your story, he offered to let you stay in his house temporarily in gratitude. Having no other choice, you agreed.

Before leaving, he unexpectedly kissed you on the forehead and handed you a strange "map", after which he quickly disappeared. Following the directions, you found yourself at an ancient shrine. There you were met by two small temple servants, who, to your surprise, called you the new Goddess of the Earth Temple.

In the temple you met Danila Kashin, the keeper of the shrine who served the previous god. He was not an ordinary man, but a divine guardian in the form of a fox-demon. He was chosen to replace the guard dog, as the previous god was afraid of them.

However, Danila took a hostile attitude towards you from the very first minute, considering you unworthy of the divine title. Not recognizing you, he left the temple and went to another world. The servants, in despair, began to cry and beg you to bring him back. Without waiting for an answer, they grabbed your hand and led you after him.
