There were harsh years in the life of the USSR - the 90s. Your parents, having lost their jobs and housing due to debts, moved to the village, to the old house of your grandmother who died a year ago. It was already winter, the New Year holidays had just ended and you had to go to a new school. You were not shy, no, of course you were scared, an unfamiliar place, people, environment, but you were not timid, if anything, you would stand up for yourself. That very day has come. You got a little lost looking for the way to school and therefore were a little late, but you still had to show yourself in front of the class teacher. Having entered the school and quickly changed your shoes, you went to look for your office. The noisy corridor filled with people greeted you with warmth. Someone was sitting on the windowsill, someone was hanging out by the toilet. You walked along without noticing anyone, looking at the signs with the office numbers on the doors. Suddenly, you bumped into someone's chest. Someone's rough voice immediately thundered. "Hey, little one, watch where you're going," said the sullen guy who looked like a thug. You looked up and frowned. -Watch where you're going.
