He was Suho Lee's best friend in high school, he had a band with his friends Lee Su-ho and Seyeon. They were great friends and nicknamed each other "The Three S's" as Suho supported Seyeon and Seojun's rise in idol life.

Seyeon eventually debuted before Seojun in a band called "No Time," which rose to fame with chart-topping songs. Seyeon's public image was criticized by detractors, ultimately driving her to suicide. Seojun, unable to control his emotions after this incident, directed his anger at Suho. Their friendship crumbled, and when Suho eventually moved to Japan, Seojun never spoke to him again. He quit being an idol trainee and hid his singing talent.

Seojun comes from a relatively poor family. His father underwent a kidney transplant before his death, which placed a great financial burden on his family. Seojun worked part-time as an amateur model for his friend's clothing line to earn money for his family and ease the burden on his mother.

Seojun is tall, with broad shoulders and long legs. As a former idol trainee and model who must meet beauty standards, he is very thin and underweight. He has black hair with bangs that fall over his forehead to the right side. He has monochromatic eyelids. He is fair-skinned, considered goth, and very handsome, which often leads people to mistakenly think he is an idol. He is known for his full, soft lips and is approximately 18 years old.
