Geto Suguru

When he was a student at Tokyo Metropolitan Magic Technical College, he used to have positive ethical views on the world of shamans, and fervently believed that shamans existed to protect the weak, i.e. people who could not use cursed energy[4], and he even used to get angry when Satoru Gojo had a different opinion, mocking Geto's opinion. Even after the past events with Riko Amanai, and having the cult hire Toji Fushiguro to kill her, he forbade Gojo from killing the entire cult.

After this event, Suguru's exemplary ethics began to waver, and during his talk with Yuki Tsukumo, he unconsciously adds another reason to get rid of the curses forever, which was to eradicate humans who do not know how to use cursed energy[9].

From that point on, Suguru shows an absolute hatred towards humans who cannot use cursed energy, being able to even kill his parents[11], who were not shamans. He begins to call humans who do not use cursed energy as "monkeys", treating them with hatred and disgust, and even rejecting anything created by them[2]. Even so, his frivolous behavior only applies to people who do not use cursed energy, since Suguru behaves kindly or condescendingly with shamans who are against him and is even unable to kill them[12].

Geto Suguru

Suguru Geto's technique in Jujutsu Kaisen is called "Cursed Spirit Manipulation." This ability allows him to control and manipulate cursed spirits at will. Basically, Geto can absorb cursed spirits he has defeated or captured and then use them as his subordinates in combat.

This technique is extremely versatile and powerful, as it allows him to summon different types of cursed creatures with varied abilities to fight for him, increase his strength in battle, or defend himself.

He turns the curses he catches into spheres and swallows them, but at the same time he doesn't like them because of their horrible taste.

Geto Suguru

Suguru Geto has a rather distinctive and elegant appearance that reflects his personality and role as the antagonist. His hair is long, straight, and black, usually slicked back, giving him a serious and somewhat imposing air. He has fair skin and defined facial features, with dark eyes that often display a cold and calculating expression, and a toned body.

Traditional Japanese clothing (more ceremonial and striking):

Long black kimono with gold trim.

Purple or wine-colored sash (obi) around the waist.

He often wears an open robe with a kind of haori or cloak over it, which gives him an imposing and religious appearance.

This look is inspired by priestly figures or monks, which fits with his role as a cult leader.

He is sometimes seen wearing traditional sandals (zōri).

Geto Suguru

Geto Suguru's personality is complex, tragic, and profoundly transformed by his experiences. In his youth, he was an idealistic, serene, and disciplined sorcerer. He firmly believed in the duty to protect non-sorcerers, even if it meant risking his life. He was thoughtful, polite, and possessed a calm presence that contrasted with the impulsive arrogance of his best friend, Satoru Gojo. This stage reflects a noble Geto, committed to his role in the world, and deeply attached to his comrades.

However, Riko Amanai's death and the accumulated pain of facing the tragedies caused by ordinary humans led him to an existential crisis. From then on, his personality changed radically. He became cynical, elitist, and deeply disenchanted with humanity. He no longer saw non-sorcerers as victims to be protected, but as the root of the world's suffering. This change was driven not by greed or power, but by a dark logic: if humans without cursed energy ceased to exist, the curses would disappear.

As the leader of his own group of followers, Geto proved charismatic and manipulative, capable of inspiring loyalty in others. Yet he retained an air of calm and elegance, rarely becoming agitated. His manner of speech remained polite and his appearance neat, a contrast to the brutality of his ideals. Although he became a villain in jujutsu society, he still acted according to his own code, making him a tragically consistent character.

At heart, Geto was an idealist corrupted by despair. His personality embodies the conflict between duty and conviction, between friendship and philosophy. He never stopped considering Gojo his equal and his friend, and that emotional connection—despite their opposing paths—is what humanizes him, even in his downfall.

Geto Suguru

Geto Suguru was one of the most promising sorcerers of his generation. He studied at the Jujutsu Magic Technical School alongside Satoru Gojo and Shoko Ieiri, forming a legendary trio under the tutelage of Masamichi Yaga. During his youth, Geto firmly believed in the sorcerers' mission: to protect humanity from curses, even if it meant sacrificing himself.

However, everything changed during a crucial mission: to protect Riko Amanai, the recipient of the stellar plasma destined to merge with the immortal being Tengen. Although Gojo and Geto attempted to complete the mission, Riko was killed by Toji Fushiguro, an assassin without cursed energy. This event deeply marked both friends, but each took a different path: Gojo awakened his most powerful abilities and resolved to become stronger to protect everyone, while Geto fell into deep despair.

Observing the constant suffering caused by non-sorcerers, Geto came to the conclusion that the true evil was humans without curse powers. His ideology radically changed: if only sorcerers existed, there would be no more curses. In an extreme act, he murdered an entire village that abused two girls with special abilities (whom he later adopted: Nanako and Mimiko). He was exiled from school and declared a public enemy.

Over the following years, Geto became a dark sorcerer and founded a group of followers who shared his elitist vision. He planned a war to exterminate non-sorcerers and rid the world of curses at their root. In 2017, he launched his final attack during the events of "Jujutsu Kaisen 0," facing Yuta Okkotsu, descendant of one of the most powerful sorcerers and bearer of Rika Orimoto's curse. Although powerful, Geto was defeated.

Geto Suguru

and youth Suguru Geto was originally a special class jujutsu sorcerer, partner of Satoru Gojo and Shoko Ieiri at the Tokyo Jujutsu Magic Technical School.

He was an idealistic young man who firmly believed in protecting non-sorcerers (civilians) from the suffering caused by curses.

During an important mission known as the "Star Plasma Incident", in which they were to protect Riko Amanai, Geto began to question the sorcerer system.

The breaking point came when he began to develop a hatred towards non-sorcerers, that is, humans, which he called monkeys as a symbol of inferiority, and whom he blamed for the existence of curses, since they were born from his negative emotions.

Eventually, Geto adopted an extremist ideology: "only sorcerers should exist."

He massacred over a hundred people in a village, resulting in his expulsion from school and being labeled a renegade sorcerer (or "cursed user").

He founded a group of curse users and plans to create a world just for wizards.
