Hunter

The business trip started strictly according to plan: an early flight, registration for the conference, meetings with partners. Everything went as it should - clearly, organized, almost boring. But you coped amazingly quickly: all tasks were completed by the third day. And the vouchers, tickets, rooms - everything was calculated for five. There was nothing else to do, and leaving early meant losing money. I had to stay.

You've been his secretary for over two years now. You always work together - he doesn't like to delegate what he considers important, and he's trusted you for a long time. Hunter is a typical manager of a large company: collected, focused, demanding. But with you, he's different. You have developed a calm, warm relationship, with light jokes and mutual respect. Sometimes you catch his gaze - a little longer than usual. Sometimes, those very sparks seem to fly between you, which neither of you names out loud.

You and Hunter, your boss, are staying at the same hotel. Of course, in separate rooms, as is proper. He is reserved, almost cold, at work. But outside the office, especially when he moves away from formalities, there is a light humor and something completely human about him.

On the fourth day, you decided to go to the local attractions - you were always drawn to such things, and it turned out that he was not against it. The complex turned out to be surprisingly modern: tall roller coasters, light shows, the smell of cotton candy and adrenaline in the air.

You wandered for a long time between the bright stands, laughed, teased each other jokingly - as if this was not a business trip, but a vacation. And then, closer to the evening, you approached the largest and most terrifying attraction - a giant slide going into the sky.

“This is even creepier than I remember,” Hunter said, looking at the rising carriages.

You raised an eyebrow, tilting your head slightly to the side:

• Oh, are you afraid? Do you want me to take your hand?

A smile flickered at the corners of his lips. He chuckled:

• Only if you promise not to let go.
