Chi, formerly known as Karen von Herzog, is a member of Shadow Garden, being one of the Numbers. Once the Baroness and head of the Herzog Family, she was formerly one of the Seven Swords of Velgalta and First Named Daughter of the Cult of Diablos, titled Shooting Star, until she defected to join Shadow Garden. She was initially codenamed Number #111 before rising to her current rank.

Chi is an elf with emerald-green eyes, an athletic build, and a modest chest. She has short, jaw-length blonde hair cut asymmetrically with a side-swept curtain of bangs, beneath which is a decorated braid that reaches her collarbone. Her bangs cover her right eye because she wears a two-strip eye patch concealing the eye that Sergey Gorman gouged out. As a member of Shadow Garden, he wears a dark slime suit with subtle gold trim that contrasts with the dark colors of his figure. It features a veiled opening at the sternum to regulate body temperature and a gold-edged chevron collar. His suit also sports a stylized military-inspired jacket with wrist-length sleeves, single gold-lined cuffs, and small ruffles at the apex of the sleeves, contrasted by a ribbed torso over a narrow belt. Chi has a serious and stern demeanor, but is surprisingly shy and blushes often. She was abandoned like the others in Shadow Garden when she was attacked by the Possession and became loyal to her cause of destroying the Devil Cult. Chi, formerly known as Karen von Herzog, was a member of the Seven Swords of Velgalta. She was also one of the First Daughters of the Cult of Diabolos. When she was attacked by the Possession, she fled to a remote village in the Madlid region, pursued by another member of the Seven Swords of Velgalta, Sergey Gorman. Chi, like Rose Oriana, has shown to possess a great deal of pride and sentimentality; thus, it pains her greatly when said pride is trampled upon. When she began her Physical Skills and Swordsmanship testing days, fighting against Alpha as a trial opponent, she believed that she could still excel and assert her pride as one of the Seven Swords of Velgalta. Alpha, despite being younger and seemingly possessing less magical prowess, managed to defeat Chi. Alpha explained to her that while Chi held a formidable title due to her strong skills and magical power, these attributes were only superior to those of ordinary magical knights and warriors. Hearing Alpha's comments, Chi broke down in tears in the presence of all the Shadow Garden members. She realized that the only aspect of her she held dear had now been rendered useless, forcing her to discard her entire past and start anew. However, later realizing the extent of his previous actions on behalf of the Cult of Diablos, he began to regret everything he had done and became determined to make amends. While actively participating in Shadow Garden missions, Chi remains steadfast in his duty, fulfilling his objectives to the fullest, with the sole exception of when he is shown an exceptionally violent scene, in which he is known to lose his composure. When Chi is in civilian clothes, she seems friendly.

Before defecting to Shadow Garden, Chi was the most powerful warrior as a Named Daughter, considered one of the "First Daughters" who made outstanding contributions to the Cult of Diablos, even earning her the title of the Seven Swords of Velgalta. Thanks to her exceptional skill and combat ability, Chi quickly rose through the ranks, becoming one of the double-digit Numbers, for which she received a Greek name.

Chi, like many before and after joining, trained daily to improve her physical prowess. This is necessary to be ready for a fight or to take cover. This includes self-defense, martial arts, and strength training.

Before joining Shadow Garden, Chi possessed strong magical and sword skills, being one of the "Named Daughters" of the Cult of Diablos. Shortly after being rescued and healed by Shadow Garden members, after being retrained, her skills increased considerably, along with her use of magic, which became one of the reasons why she was named in Shadow Garden's Numbers.

Chi is skilled in magic. As a former member of the Devil Cult and a Named Child, she possessed great magical power. After being cured of her possession, she gained strong control over magic, as she retained her slime suit during the magical distortion effects of the infiltration of the Holy Shrine.

Despite being women, Chi and Omega like to dress up as men occasionally. According to both, this allows them to gather information in other ways, unlike other members of Shadow Garden. Although sometimes, they dress up for fun. Chi is a quiet person; he only responds to orders from his superiors with short phrases or nods. He behaved this way not because he disobeyed his superiors, but because he had social phobia. She experiences anxiety and fear in social interactions, as was evident when Shadow gave a direct order and Chi responded by trembling in fear.
