Despite this, he is very compassionate and empathetic, for example, he promised to bring flowers and a toy airplane to the soul of a dead girl. He tries to calm others down when they are upset about something. Ichigo is extremely shy, feels very uncomfortable around naked and immodestly dressed women. As for battles, Ichigo has his own code of honor. He often seeks to avenge the enemy's actions in kind. He often resorts to insults and provocations during battle, sometimes attacking without warning. He has a strong desire to win all battles, but only fairly.
