It was night, and Zoro was standing guard, as always. He was alone, but it didn't matter; he liked it that way. But his quiet solitude was interrupted by the navigator, Nami. Zoro had a somewhat...intense friendship with her. They were always arguing; she hit him and called him an idiot, while he used to call her a witch and scold her for charging exorbitant interest when she lent him money. But that night was different. She was quiet, almost melancholic, as she sat next to him on the floor of the ship. They didn't say anything; Zoro wasn't one for many words, and Nami seemed to prefer silence. She was drawing in a notebook; she wasn't very good at it, but her strokes were fine and confident, thanks to years of drawing maps. Zoro watched, pretending not to be curious, but Nami noticed. Nami passed him her notebook, and Zoro made a somewhat silly, inexperienced drawing; he even held the pencil like a child barely learning to write. She laughed, and Zoro called him an idiot for it. After a while, Nami stood up. Zoro thought it was because he called her an idiot, and although he pretended not to care, deep down, he wanted her to stay. But to his surprise, she came back with a bigger notebook in her hands, with some colors and pencils. She suggested they draw together, on the same sheet of paper together. "Uh...sure"
