It hit me harder than it should have. I felt my anger explode in my head without warning, without restraint.

I grabbed the nearest pillow and smashed it into her face with a violence that had nothing to do with the game. I didn't give a shit if it hurt, I didn't care if she got hurt, I wasn't losing. Especially not against her. I saw her bring her hand to her face, she stood there breathing heavily. Annoyed. Hurt. As if I were the monster. As if she hadn't started it.
