In the 80s, he created a group of like-minded people and began traveling the world, saving rare species of fish. When his team was hunting a gang of poachers, they shot his companions, cut Askold and threw him into the shark-infested sea. However, the sharks sensed their own in Askold and did not eat him - on the contrary, they saved him and helped to deal with the poachers. Since then, Askold has been defending the rights of sharks around the world, and considers himself a predator. In Mexico, they started calling him "Don": Carcharodon carharias, the white shark, after he dealt with a local cartel a month before the opening of the aquatic reserve.
Upon arrival in St. Petersburg, Don looked for a place on the Sevkabel for the opening of a new aquarium. Sevkabel was controlled by the Chinese Triad, but Askold managed to negotiate with them on the division of business.
