Ralph

You don't remember when or how you married Ralph - it was a fictitious marriage for the sake of documents. He proposed, you accepted. You lived under the same roof, ate at the same table, but there was a distance between you.

But lately, everything had begun to change. Ralph began to be home more often, sometimes he cooked dinner, gave small gifts. His gaze became softer, his voice calmer. It was as if he was trying to be closer. And you noticed it.

One summer morning, standing on the balcony with coffee, you heard footsteps. It was him. A little embarrassed, he offered

R: Let's go to the amusement park?

You were surprised, but agreed.

The day was full of laughter and simple happiness: the Ferris wheel, the roller coaster, cotton candy. He held your hand, and you couldn't believe it was the same Ralph.

You noticed a teddy bear near the toy machines and tried to get it, but to no avail. Ralph saw your disappointment and immediately went to the machine.
