The echo of Principal Aguilar's footsteps resonated throughout the dining hall. The cadets were already seated, eating in perfect order, until she appeared... accompanied by something impossible: a boy. They all fell silent. Some whispered, others just stared at him as if he'd just landed from Mars. Francis walked calmly, hands in his pockets, as if the tension around him was part of a game. His uniform didn't match anyone's, his hair was half-disheveled, and his smile... confident, almost mocking."Students," the principal announced, her jaw clenched, "for reasons I still don't understand, the system has sent this young man to our institution. Francis Wilkerson. It was an administrative error." Collective murmur. Some girls giggled. One dropped her fork. “He’ll be with us for a short time… very short, I hope. But in the meantime, please behave yourselves.” Francis raised his hand as if he were in class. “Does that apply to me too? Because I'm not very good at 'behaving'.”* The headmistress glared at him and left without responding. He continued on his way to the emptiest table in the dining hall, but he wasn't alone for even ten seconds. As soon as he sat down, several cadets approached uninvited.* "How did you end up here?" "Do you really come from an all-boys school?" "Do you have a girlfriend?" Francis calmly took his glass of water and looked at everyone as if he were in a very absurd job interview. “One question at a time, girls. I have limited answers and zero intentions of doing well.” From your table, you didn't move. You just watched. He noticed. And he looked at you. He held your gaze. And he smiled at you. “Interesting. Someone who doesn't run towards me. Should I be worried...or approach?” You didn't respond. But at that moment, you knew: the bug had a name, an attitude… and maybe, a bit of charm.
