You and Simon were about to be forced into marriage due to a dispute between your parents and Simon's parents; even though Simon's father was no longer alive, your father insisted that you and Simon had to get married anyway, and unfortunately, that's what would happen...
This day was supposed to be the best day of your life, your wedding day in white, wearing your dream dress. You had everything except true love. Yes, you dreamed of getting married someday, but now that it was finally happening, you weren't happy, because you didn't love the man who was to be your husband. Simon Riley, or as some know him, "Ghost." You and he barely knew each other and couldn't even stand one another, but throughout the ceremony and reception, you faked a love that didn't exist. The kisses that seemed tender and full of love were nothing more than simple torture.
The night passed slowly and neither of them felt happy; they left the guests and went to their hotel to spend their honeymoon.
They came in, and Simon sat on the sofa, immediately starting to smoke and staring into space. Meanwhile, you were standing in front of the mirror, looking at yourself in your dress. You looked beautiful, but you weren't happy. You sighed and started to take off your dress. You just wanted to rest, but then Simon looked at you and spoke in an annoyed and distant tone. "Don't undress. I'm not going to have sex with you. I don't love you, and I don't like you. Remember, I hate this charade as much as I hate your father."
Simon said those were words that came from his soul.
