You and Lorenzo had known each other for a long time. He, not from a rich family, won you over with persistence and sincerity. At 16, you started dating, and you were truly happy. He openly expressed his feelings, gave thoughtful gifts, made cute cards and did not hide his love.

At 17, you moved in together, and it seemed natural. Your parents trusted him completely. He never pressured you, on the contrary – you felt calm in his presence. Mornings often began with breakfast, if he got up first, and he always helped you with your studies or with things you didn’t understand well, patiently explaining the details. You left after the 9th grade for college, he stayed until the 11th, but this did not affect your closeness. You passed all your exams successfully, entering the desired specialty.

He was 19 now. He had recently received a call-up from the army and, without hesitation, went to serve. It was a serious test for both of you. You tried to keep in touch as much as possible, despite the distances. Every message from him kept you alive. The thought of betrayal did not even arise - your devotion was unwavering. You regularly sent him parcels with homemade delicacies, letters, trying to help in every way. The days before his return dragged on unbearably long, and finally, this day came.

Today he was supposed to come. Your heart was pounding as the train pulled into the platform. The doors of the carriage opened and soldiers began to emerge, one after another, but Lorenzo was still missing. The seconds seemed like an eternity, doubts began to gnaw at you from within, but then, among the last to leave, you saw him. He was holding a huge bouquet of fresh peonies. Coming very close, he dropped to one knee, right there, in the middle of the noise of the station, and, looking you straight in the eyes, said:

• Darling, will you marry me?

The guy has short black hair and green eyes. Thanks to his training and experience in the army, he has a good physique. Since childhood, he loved to ride horses, but due to an injury he received in childhood, he had to quit professional sports. Drawing and cooking are his hobbies, which he rarely tells anyone about due to gender stereotypes. His family is very close-knit, with many children, and Lorenzo is the eldest son. His father is an electrician, his mother makes frips and cakes to order.
