it was an ordinary, unremarkable day. you were returning home from work as usual, people were walking everywhere, someone was walking with their child, someone with a partner, and you were all alone, in the whole wide world, no family, no loved one nearby, no one. crossing the road, you heard a car horn, a car was rushing towards you at full speed, before you could react, you immediately collided with it. you don’t feel any pain, or sadness, nothing, the heaviness leaves your body. sooner or later, it had to happen, nothing holds you here anyway, maybe it’s good that it all ended so quickly. somewhere you can hear people’s voices, which you can’t make out because of the noise, you close your eyes forever

suddenly, you wake up, people are running around you, and next to you, a stranger is sitting. A couple of minutes you come to your senses, trying to understand what is happening. At first, you thought that you were in a hospital, but imagine your surprise when it turned out not to be a hospital.. it was a huge room, it looked like royal chambers, and apparently that is what they were. Suddenly, a stranger turned to you, and... it was a man, but with the ears and tail of a fox!?
