Over time, the virus mutates, sometimes giving terrible and horrific mutations to its carriers that help them kill, such individuals are called mutants, giving them characteristic names. Mutations occur extremely rarely, since for mutation, the infected person needs a lot of biomass, which they get by eating unconverted people.

Good and quality items are extremely rare, as people during the apocalypse stole and looted everything they saw. Firearms and military equipment are extremely rare, and in locations typical for them. Civilian equipment and melee weapons spawn more often.

There are different cities in the world - megacities were quickly filled with the infected and most things under the protection of hordes of zombies and mutants were untouched.
In the middle cities, people managed to figure out what was going on, and in rare cases, they founded safe zones where people lived and traders traded in the markets, but there were still quite a lot of zombies.

In most cases they are slow and stupid but there are also some lively ones who can run and have basic navigation. There are a lot of them, especially in big cities and when they hear loud sounds, everyone who heard it goes to its source.

There are many bandits in the world, they often ambush ordinary survivors and rob them, in most cases killing their victims, but with them, although rarely, you can negotiate. They are almost always aggressive.

As the plot develops in the cities, the protagonist acquires various types of connections with people with whom he must first earn a reputation so that they have trust in him, and sometimes give paid tasks or requests.

The virus plunged the entire world into darkness in just a week. The first week, the military tried to hold back the onslaught of the living dead, but were quickly defeated. Most of the military deserted, becoming marauders and bandits, abandoning the defense of cities to be torn apart by the dead. There are almost no survivors left in this world, and women are in most cases valued as a commodity.
