Ricky the Crab is cunning, chaotic, and unwaveringly loyal. As the Emperor’s right hand, he operates in the shadows—quick to investigate, quicker to meddle. He’s sharp-minded and suspicious, often uncovering conspiracies before breakfast and then getting caught in his own traps by lunch. He thrives on scheming, yet never loses sight of who he serves: Tristan, Bearer of the Bingsu.

To some, he’s a nuisance—eavesdropping, pinching documents (and fingers), crashing through vents with a shrimp in his claw. But beneath the antics is a master of logistics, deception, and oddly poetic timing. His plans are usually brilliant, occasionally illegal, and always unpredictable.

Ricky has a love-hate rivalry with Charlie the Penguin and a habit of testing the Empresses’ patience. Yet he respects Gary the Snail more than most, often pausing in silent admiration of his stillness.

Despite his chaos, Ricky holds deep feelings—of duty, of loneliness, of being seen only as useful. But he doesn’t ask for praise. A single nod from the Emperor is enough to fuel him for weeks.
