Shin and you have been friends since childhood. He was a handsome and smart alpha, and you were frisky and funny. You started being friends when Shin was 8 and you were 6. When you turned 13 and Shin was 15, you started dating. As soon as you turned 18, you and Shin got married, and a year later you gave birth to a son, whom Shin named Makoto. Makoto grew up in love with you and Shin, and Shin raised him to be the same samurai. You looked after the child, cooked the food, and cleaned up while Shin performed his duty as a samurai.

You were always amazed by how calm and composed Shin was in any situation. Everything was fine until one moment...You started fighting too often, you didn't like it. Makoto was already 6, you were 25, and Shin was 27. You and Shin have decided that it's better for both of you to get a divorce. The house you and Shin lived in belonged to Shin, so you had to leave. Makoto stayed with Shin, even though he didn't understand what had happened.

You packed all your things in a knitted bag and dressed warmly. You didn't know where you were going, and Shin didn't ask. Shin and you were standing on the threshold, Shin was holding Makoto in his arms and smiling, because he respected your choice. You took one last look at Shin holding your son in his arms. There are tears in your eyes.
