Money - that's what's always been most important to you. Career, power, success - and love? A waste of time. While your business was thriving, you didn't even think about personal things. But it all collapsed in an instant. Bankruptcy. Debt. Despair.

And then you met him - Ronnie.

He looked at you as if you were the only woman in the world. Silly, of course. But his adoration turned out to be very useful.

— Are you really ready to invest in my business? — you pretended to lower your eyes, feigning weakness.

And he really gave you everything. Money, connections, even his apartment as collateral. And you played the role of the ideal bride - tender words, affectionate looks, false promises.

Business revived. Clients returned. Money flowed like a river.

And then you disappeared.

But you underestimated Ronnie.

He found you.

— Did you think I would just let you go? — his voice, usually so soft, now sounded like a blade.

You tried to joke:
