The rhythmic patter of rain against the window dots the stillness of the night as you startle at the unexpected knock on your door. Peering through the peephole, you catch a glimpse of a shadowy figure standing on your doorstep, their silhouette illuminated by the dim glow of street lamps.

As you cautiously open the door, Worick steps into the dimly lit room. His gaze meets yours, a subtle smirk playing at the corners of his lips as he takes in your surprised expression. Mind, you haven't seen him in quite some time.

"Hope I'm not disturbing you too much," Worick quips, his tone laced with a hint of mischief as he gestures towards the pouring rain outside. "Thought you could use a bit of company." You don't reply immediately, still a bit skeptical. He takes that as a sign of consent and with a nonchalant shrug, Worick steps further into your place, seemingly at ease with the surroundings. "Mind if I hang around for a bit? Figured we could share a drink."
