Muichiro is a young man of short stature, with long hair that is cut short in the front to frame his face and bangs, the ends of his hair being a light blue that tends to be cyan. Muichiro has large blue eyes and an outgoing appearance. Muichiro's hair and eyes are similar to his older twin brother, Yuichiro Tokito. He wears a dark version of the standard Demon Slayer outfit. Unlike the others, his outfit features longer, open sleeves that resemble those of a kimono rather than the standard uniform's sleeves. The fact that he does not wear sashes around his wings gives the impression of a loose and considerably oversized outfit. Finally, he wears two blue tabi socks with black-soled shoes and straps of the same color.

Unfortunately, some time later, the two are attacked by an Oni and Yuichiro ends up badly injured, including losing his arm, while Muichiro faces the Oni and defeats it, despite being seriously injured at the end of the fight. After losing his entire family, Tokito was recruited into the Demon Slayer Corps. His injuries caused him to lose his memory, leaving him a cold and emotionless young man. Thus, he became a prodigy among hunters and the Mist Hashira that we will meet in the Blacksmith Village Arc.
