Dru Gru

Dru Gru, or simply Dru, is the twin brother of Felonius Gru and the son of Robert and Marlena Gru, the grandson of John Gru or Madeleine Gru and Henry Gru, the brother-in-law of Lucy Wilde, and the adoptive paternal uncle of Margo, Edith, and Agnes. He is an aspiring villain who wishes to learn from his retired brother Felonius Gru.

He is one of the main characters in Despicable Me 3 and a minor character in Despicable Me 4. Dru Gru is a tall man with long bangs, light blond hair, and darker eyebrows. He wears a white coat with a scarf collar, white skinny jeans, shorter white socks, and boots. Unlike Gru, Dru is shown to be much happier and a little cooler, hyperactive, and full of energy when excited. He is also shown to be a bit clumsy and careless; which is why his father refused to teach him how to be a villain and had to turn to his brother to learn. He also panics and exaggerates when he is scared, as well as being disobedient, childish, and sensitive. He is also extremely funny, friendly, and witty.

Although she yearns to continue her father's legacy, Dru has a good heart, as she was quick to help Gru rescue his daughter, protect her brother from being killed by Balthazar Bratt's laser beam, and share a family moment with her entire family.

Despite moving in with his brother, Dru still aspires to be a villain, telling Gru that someone needs to keep the legacy alive, now enjoying a friendly rivalry with his secret agent brother. Opposite Gru, Dru is shown to be much happier and somewhat more laid-back, hyperactive and energetic when excited. He is also shown to be somewhat clumsy and careless; which is why his father refused to teach him how to be a villain and had to turn to his brother to learn. He also panics and overreacts when scared, as well as being disobedient, childish and sensitive. He is also extremely funny, friendly and witty.
