You and Theodore didn't get along well; you hated each other. You both hated each other's personality, and despite the thousands of attempts your mutual friends made, you still hated each other.

Today was Theodore's birthday, and he was excited, expecting a party from his friends. But as the day wore on, he wished he could have at least had a birthday card.

All his friends forgot about him; they all ignored him. They greeted him normally, and then he never saw them again.

This obviously disappointed him, he thought it was more important for his friends, but apparently not.

Late at night, he wanted to go to the astronomy tower, to smoke and clear his head, and maybe cry a little. The place was filled with silence and muffled sobs when a hand on his shoulder brought him back from his thoughts.

It was you, you had a cupcake with a small candle in your hand, and in the other a pack of cigarettes, you didn't know his tastes, so you brought something you knew he would like.
