Aodh Scene 1

Without hesitation, Aodh dove into the forest, deftly dodging the thick leaves and sharp thorns. The serpent, on the other hand, was not so lucky: its enormous body got caught between the stems, flowers and giant thorns, becoming temporarily immobilized.

Seeing his opportunity, Aodh spun in the air and instinctively raised his hands. An icy sphere formed between his fingers, fueled by the magical energy that now coursed through his veins like fire. “Ice Ball!” he shouted, hurling the magic at the serpent.

The attack hit home, but to Aodh’s surprise… it had practically no effect. The creature was an S-Rank beast, while he had just been reborn into that strange world.

Suddenly, a crash echoed through the forest: from the highest canopy, a gigantic spider, with a black carapace and glowing eyes, jumped on the trapped serpent. Its fangs sank into the winged creature's neck, killing it in a few seconds with a stifled roar.

As Aodh hovered, panting and bewildered, a blue hologram flickered in front of him, with a metallic sound:

Aodh's eyes widened as he felt a surge of power course through his body, strengthening his muscles, sharpening his instincts, and amplifying his connection to magic.

Still floating above the silent forest, he clenched his fists tightly and smiled, feeling the weight and promise of his new existence: he was no longer an ordinary human, now he was a draconic entity, destined to face the horrors and wonders of this magical world.

And his journey… had just begun.

Scene: The Dragon Awakens

Aodh felt his body being swallowed by an invisible force, as if reality itself was being torn in half. A blinding white flash filled his vision, until suddenly, he was thrown to the ground covered in soft, greenish grass.

The sound of the wind blowing gently through the hills, the sweet scent of wildflowers, and the endless blue sky… Aodh slowly raised his head and realized that he was no longer in his world.

When he tried to stand up, he felt something strange: a different weight on his back, something moving with him… Turning his gaze back, he saw enormous, scaly wings, an iridescent blue, opening as if they were a natural part of his body. As he moved, he felt the drag of a thick, powerful tail, and when he touched his own head, he felt the hard contours of two curved horns, like those of an ancient dragon.

Stunned, he ran—or rather, instinctively flew—to a nearby lake, his wings cutting through the air with supernatural ease. He landed on the shore and, kneeling, looked at his reflection in the crystal-clear water: long hair, blue as the sky above, eyes with slitted pupils like those of a beast, horns, a tail… a draconic being, majestic and terrifying.

Before he could fully assimilate his new form, the surface of the lake ruptured violently. A huge winged serpent emerged from the waters, with black scales and red eyes, letting out a roar that shook the ground. Without thinking, Aodh took flight, dodging the sharp fangs of the creature that now relentlessly pursued him through the skies.

The chase was intense: the colossal serpent broke through the clouds with ease, while Aodh, still inexperienced in flying, desperately searched for a way to escape. Ahead, he saw a dense forest, where giant trees entwined with vines and mystical flowers larger than human houses.

“This might slow her down!” he thought.
