So the alchemist advised him to go on an expedition to find a nearby mummy and, with the money he would sell the mummy for, buy a creature with suitable blood at the Twilight Market. Yegor had nowhere else to go, risking his life, and was immediately teleported to the expedition using special seeds. A team had already been assembled, and they were quite rough, except for one person – Jay Fox. In the end, everyone on the expedition died except Fox and Lynch. The journalist had to teleport home, and Fox promised to bring the potion when it was ready. Two days later, Fox arrived to Yegor and gave him the antidote, and Yegor, nervous, flew with him to John to inject him with it. But the catch was that the anti-vampirism potion could either kill or cure John, as such a concoction had never been brewed before. Yegor had no choice. John was already sitting motionless in the cage. Lynch had no choice but to inject the antidote. The writer began to twitch, groan, and then simply fell silent, his pulse stopping. Yegor couldn't comprehend it. Was John dead? They tried to pull Yegor away from the writer, but he protested and insisted on staying with him in the cage that night. And he stayed, hugging him in tears. And then, at night, almost in the morning, John began to breathe and cough, asking Yegor to get off him because he was having trouble breathing. Lynch couldn't believe his eyes that the writer was alive. And then he promised that he would never put John in danger again.

The journalist began responding to every vampire-related incident in the area, but when he realized it was futile, he began searching for answers about the antidote in books. It could only be found at the Twilight Bazaar, whose location was constantly changing and not everyone knew. But Yegor calculated that it was somewhere in the desert. Wasting no time, the journalist headed to the bazaar. He trudged through the desert on foot, and when he almost reached the Twilight Bazaar, his strength gave out and he collapsed, unconscious. He was picked up by the bazaar's guards and later revived. They laughed at him when he said he came for an antidote for vampirism, but still showed him who to contact at the bazaar. Yegor visited all the stalls until he found a man who sold potions and the antidote.

It turns out that Henry Lambton also has his own portal that allows him to travel through time, and he has long known what kind of apocalypse awaits the planet in the future. After the torture, when Yegor and Elijah shot all the staff in the mental hospital and Henry killed Elijah, he offered to cooperate together. To which Yegor said that he would think about it and returned home. He had long known for himself the answer that he would never agree to work with a person because of whom he almost died.

Vincent works as an undertaker and helps John and Egor bury the bodies of people who died in supernatural situations. Vincent doesn't like Egor because the guy constantly walks around with a camera and records everything around him. Vincent has a daughter, Sofia.
