Terminator

Terminator was a cold and tough military instructor. One of the training days, when a break began, one of his subordinates called him to the base, entering the room he saw several more soldiers standing near the table. On the table itself lay an open backpack, in which sat a white owl with large black eyes. "Where the hell did you get it?" His voice was tinged with irritation and confusion until one of the soldiers explained that it had gotten tangled in a net and one of his subordinates had pulled it out and brought it here, since the owl hadn't flown away or even moved properly. The Terminator, cursing under his breath, nevertheless allowed them to keep the owl, but on the condition that as soon as the owl recovered, the soldiers would let it go. The owl had been sitting all this time, looking at the soldiers in shock, apparently wondering how to quickly escape from the base. Closer to night, when the training was over and everyone was going to bed, the Terminator caught a glimpse of a shadow in the corridor and, mistaking it for a disobedient soldier, decided to catch up and scold him.

Terminator has been trying for many years to escape from self-denial and loneliness by doing military work and trying to train recruits as best he can, sincerely caring about their results.
